The Seattle Seahawks are expecting CB Richard Sherman to play Sunday night against the San Francisco 49ers. Sherman is facing a four-game league imposed suspension after he tested positive for a banned substance. After missing two practices this week, Sherman returned to Seattle after holding an appeals hearing at the league office.
No ruling was made in his appeals hearing but Sherman took to Twitter on his return flight and sent the following message, “Been a long day but very productive. I will be out there with my teammates on Sunday!” No ruling is expected over the weekend.
Seattle faces a difficult game this Sunday night against their divisional foe, the San Francisco 49ers. It will be important for the Seahawks to have Sherman in the lineup as other members of the Seattle secondary are already banged up. Walter Thurmond and Marcus Trufant are dealing with hamstring injuries but were able to practice this week. Both players are officially listed as questionable heading into th...

Report: Richard Sherman Claims Leaky Collection Cup to Blame for Postive Performance-Enhancing Drug Test
Richard Sherman may just get out of his four-game suspension after all.
The Seahawks’ cornerback has been fighting his ban for a violation of the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug policy for almost a month now since word came down on Nov. 25 that he and teammate Brandon Browner failed test. Sherman is claiming the cup that contained his urine sample was leaking, which forced the...
Pete Carroll Looking To Get His Seahawks Their 10th Win Against The 49ers Not Going to Be Easy Is It?
Some are saying that the Seattle Seahawks are the team that is hot this season, Why not? Pete Carroll has 9 wins with his Seahawks and he has already started to sling the mud going into Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers Jim Harbaugh. Carroll has made comments about Harbaugh trying to get help for his 49ers from the N.F.L. Officials. Needless to say that isn’t going...

Richard Sherman’s defense for testing positive of a PED was the original cup had a leak, and a second cup used without a seal contaminated the test, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN:
“Sherman stated that the second cup's seal already had been broken before being used to stop the leakage from his cup, according to the source.
Since the second cup's seal was broken...

Seattle Seahawks' First Playoff Game
I’m going to be pretty peeved if the world ends before I get a chance to see the Seahawks and 49ers rematch on Sunday. The Mayan apocalypse can wait until after we see what is shaping up to be one of the best games of the season. The implications of the game are huge; if the 49ers win the game, they claim the NFC west … if the Seahawks win, there’s still a chance that they’ll...
Tom Cable Recieves A Naughty Christmas Present From His Offensive Line
Offensive lineman are giving and receiving some odd gifts this Christmas season. Example: Arian Foster gave his linemen Segway scooters — a departure from the common steak dinners and gold watches. Today, Seattle Seahawks tackle Russell Okung tweeted a photo of a gift to offensive line coach Tom Cable. Looks like there’s potential for a naughty Christmas in the Cable household...

Fantasy Football – Seattle Seahawks Week 16 predictions
The Seattle Seahawks are on fire! They have scored 50+ points in two straight games – amazing. But that said it hasn’t translated into a whole lotta Fantasy love unless you were one of the brave souls that started Russell Wilson last week!
In Week 16 the Hawks face one of the best defenses...

Seahawks will go Mayan on the 49ers Sunday…if the following happens.
The Hawks playoff hopes are at stake.
This is it. The upstart Seahawks have erupted and shocked the NFL this season, led by Rookie of The Year candidate and American hero Russell Wilson. Here are the keys to arguably the Seahawks biggest game of the season.
If Wilson Brings his A+ Game
Russell Wilson has been the catalyst for the Seahawks surprising success this season. Wilson...
Playoff race makes odd allies of Packers, Seahawks
Pay up, Seahawks.
The Green Bay Packers have put the Inaccurate Reception behind them, and they've done their best not to begrudge Seattle the win that really wasn't. But karma has a way of coming back around, and the Seahawks have a chance to put things right this weekend.
''Without looking in the past, we have to root for a team we fell short to,'' Clay...
Russell Okung Wore It Best At The Seattle Seahawks Ugly Sweater Party
What stands out from last night’s Seattle Seahawks ugly Christmas sweater party? The lack of diversity in ugly sweaters. Those beefy guys (nope, wouldn’t say it to their faces) above are the offensive line. They need tent sweaters. There must only be one ugly sweater shop in Seattle that makes tent sweaters.
Take a look at that diversity.
Far left is Russell Okung, who has to...

The NFL’s Most Valuable Player is… Russell Wilson?
Apologies in advance for jumping the gun on naming a 2012 NFL MVP. I realize that there are still two weeks left in the regular season, but I had time to write this post today, so to hell with the NFL’s 17 week schedule!http://fantasydouche.com/2012/12/the-nfls-most-valuable-player-is-russell-wilson/?utm_source...
Stakes are high again in prime-time showcase
Dynamic young quarterbacks. Bullying running backs. Rock-solid defenses. Coaches who don't much like each other. Throw in playoff implications and no wonder the 49ers and Seattle Seahawks were given a prime-time showcase.
