Found August 21, 2012 on Rumors and Rants:
Publicly the Seattle Seahawks are maintaining that they are still in the midst of a three-way quarterback competition, while in reality the contest is already over. Tarvaris Jackson, Russell Wilson and Matt Flynn have all been trying to win the starting job, but sources close to the team are claiming Flynn has run away with it. For the past few weeks Flynn has been running with the first-team, while Wilson has been acting as the backup and Jackson looks like the odd man out. The 27-year-old Flynn has started both preseason games for the Seahawks, but hasn’t exactly been impressive. In two preseason starts, Flynn has completed 17 of 26 passes for 102 yards, with no touchdowns and an interception.
