Well, we haven’t signed anyone of note lately, so maybe reporting some news on a guy with some actual NFL experience might get the blood going.

Coming from the man himself via Rotoworld, former Chiefs wide receiver Devard Darling said the Seahawks have expressed interest in his services.

It would be a home coming of sorts for him, as Darling played his college football at Washington State, (at least our crappy team produces some NFL talent…).

He hasn’t done much in his career, although he has better career numbers than Mike Williams; with 37 catches, 578 yards, and 4 TD’s in mostly a reserve/situational role.

If Darling wants an opportunity in the NFL, I suggest he look elsewhere, with at least five receivers virtual locks (Houshy, Tate, Butler, Branch, Obamanu), to be ahead of him and Mike Williams drawing rave reviews as well.

Still, if your hungry for the front offfice to make a move, I think the addition of Scot McCloughan, the Albert Haynesworth rumors, and this should keep your stomach from growling.
