Veteran wide receiver Terrell Owens may be having another chance to revive his career in Seattle.

Dave Mahler of KJR-950AM announced that the 15 year vet will be travelling to the pacific northwest, but is unsure if it will be to sign, tryout, or just talk business with Coach Pete Carroll.

The head coach of the Seahawks has had his eye on several vets that have either been out of the NFL or their current teams have given up on them, Antonio Bryant and Braylon Edwards to name a few.

Owens has had a rough go at the league. After coming off of a torn ACL, he has since not been able to find a team willing to deal with him. After having an open practice televised for all to see, he was quick to find that no one was interested enough to see what the boisterous wideout had to offer. During this last season, he attempted to try his hand in the IFL, which soon after lead to his rejection from his team and the league for poor sportsmanship.

His “cancerous attitude” and his ability to make every team break-up a “nasty one” has been a label that will most likely never leave the aging receivers title, but there is no doubt that Owens still has the stuff. It’s his personal issues that need to be reigned in before any kind of progress can be made.

With Bryant being released after only 10 days of being signed to the team, it is no guarantee that, if a deal is struck with the Seahawks and T.O. manages to put on the blue and green jersey, that he will stay in Seattle. Carroll loves to find troubled “one time playmakers” and help to revive their careers, but it may be too little too late for the ex-NFL player. The head coach will most likely have his hands full with this one.

As the world can hear the collective gasps and moans of the recent news, the 12th man will continue to wait and see what Coach Carroll has in store for the long time, loud mouthed receiver, and if he can truly get through to this troubled ex-NFL star.
