Braylon Edwards was at the hospital to get an MRI on his swollen knee when the Seattle Seahawks receiver caught flack from a security guard for hurting his fantasy team. The security guard at the hospital was apparently caught off guard when Edwards was a late scratch in Seattle’s 28-24 loss against Detroit. Originally Edwards was expected to play against the Lions but when he experienced problems with his knee he was ruled out. Edwards has 74 yards and one touchdown on the season. Which begs the question why anyone would have him on their “fantasy” football roster.

Pete Carroll says Seahawks are close to 8-0

At 4-4, the Seattle Seahawks are only a .500 team halfway through the season. They have fielded a much better defense than people expected and rookie 3rd round quarterback Russell Wilson has had them in almost all of their games. Their head coach believes they are much better than what their record indicates. Per 710 AM in Seattle: Carroll was quoted as saying, “It...

Seahawks Eyeing Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe?

Braylon Edwards, Ben Obomanu and Doug Baldwin are still to be determined. Seahawks must learn how to win on the road

The Seattle Seahawks are 4-4 with all four of their losses coming on the road. They are 3-0 at home and are 1-4 away from it. Three of the four losses have come against division opponents and with how well the 49ers are playing, The NFC West title might be out their reach, but the wild card is not. Defensive issues concerning for Seahawks

What started out as a mild concern for the Seattle Seahawks became a full-blown issue after losing to Detroit. If there had been one knock on the Seahawks' impressive defense, it was the unit's problems getting off the field on third down. Those problems were accentuated Sunday by what the Lions' were able to do in a 28-24 win that left Seattle with a 4-4 record. The...

Seahawks Facing Uncertainty At Wide Receiver

Braylon Edwards was inactive on Sunday after his knee swelled unexpectedly, Ben Obomanu suffered a wrist injury in Detroit and Doug Baldwin is unlikely to be back for this week's game after suffering a high ankle sprain on Oct. 18. Seahawks Looking To Finally Feature WR Sidney Rice More

Sidney Rice is the Seahawks’ most talented receiver, but there is a reason he has been overlooked in the passing game. The oft-injured Rice didn’t have a chance to work with new quarterback Russell Wilson in the offseason because he was rehabbing from shoulder surgeries, and he missed a good portion of camp and the preseason. As a result, Wilson and Rice were not clicking very...

Richard Sherman brags about shutting Calvin Johnson down

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman seemed to have no shortage of confidence all week heading into his matchup with Calvin Johnson and the Detroit Lions.
