The Seattle Seahawks re-signed wide receiver Deon Butler on Saturday to fill a roster spot left when wide receiver Charly Martin was placed on injured reserve. Butler passed a physical and is eligible to be activated in time for Sunday's game against Buffalo in Toronto. After three seasons with the Seahawks, Butler was cut at the end of training camp this year. In 2011, he was limited to five games for Seattle while recovering from a broken leg during the 2010 season. Butler's best season was 36 catches for 385 yards and four touchdowns in 2010 before he was injured. Martin suffered a calf injury during practice on Thursday. He had played in four games this season nad had four receptions for 42 yards.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said he feels badly about running a fake punt in the 4th quarter with the team already up on the Bills by 30 points.

Sidney Rice listed as probable

Earlier this week Seattle Seahawks wide receiver SIdney Rice (foot) was wearing a walking boot and it looked like he may not play in Sunday’s game against the Bills. The good news is that Rice has been officially listed as probable, which means he’s expected to play.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'...

Seahawks Injury Report: Sidney Rice, Marcus Trufant, Kam Chancellor

The Seattle Seahawks are expecting to have wide receiver Sidney Rice and safety Kam Chancellor today when they take on the Buffalo Bills, but they have already ruled out cornerback Marcus Trufant. Rice missed practice Wednesday and Thursday due to a foot injury, but he was able to return at full capacity Friday. He’s been quarterback Russell Wilson’s top target this season...

Streaker fails to impress at Bills-Seahawks game

You would think a streaker at a game that featured the Seahawks beating the Bills 50-17 would pretty much steal the show.  Not this time.  This streaker was in some white boxers with white socks, and pretty much got tackled immediately.  If you're going to be slow and get caught quick you at least have to bring something else to the table.  Fat guys are funny, costumes are...

Russell Wilson Scores Third Rushing Touchdown of Day While Making Push for Offensive Rookie of the Year (Animation)

Russell Wilson has quietly been keeping up with both Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III all season with his strong play. On a day when Luck’s Colts lost and Griffin sat out with an injury, Wilson may jump both players as the new leader for the offensive rookie of the year award. Wilson has four touchdowns through the first half, with one coming through the air and three on the...

Week 15: Seahawks at Bills (well, at Toronto, anyway) (Game Thread)

WR Deon Butler was signed to the roster to fill Charly Martin's role as the fifth wide receiver on the active roster, but he's been listed as inactive for the game.  And as expected, Walter Thurmond has joined Marcus Trufant as an injury scratch on the sideline along with CB DeShawn Shead.  The four cornerbacks who will be active for the game are Richard Sherman, Jeremy...

Is Russel Wilson the Best Rookie QB in the NFL?

We all know that this years rookie class is astounding. Trent Richardson, Doug, Martin, Robert Griffin III, and Andrew Luck are to name a few. There has been so much hype about the seasons that RG3 and Andrew Luck are producing. When you say rookie of the year, the first names to pop into mind are RG3 and Andrew Luck. They were the no. 1 and no. 2 picks in the 2012 NFL Draft. The...

Seattle Seahawks at Buffalo Bills: Week 15 NFL Pick

Seattle Seahawks (8-5) at Buffalo Bills (5-8) The Seahawks have the biggest home/road disparity over the last few years. They are 23-43 ATS on the road and 46-20 ATS at home since 2005. This year, they are a perfect 6-0 ATS at home, including 3-0 SU as home dogs, but on the road they are 3-4 ATS. That might not sound bad, until we take a closer look. Two of those covers were in their...

Pete Carroll feels bad for running fake punt vs. Bills

Fake punts are typically reserved for critical do-or-die situations, but for the Seattle Seahawks, they're business as usual. Up by 30 points over the Buffalo Bills early in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks opted to run a fake punt, which went for 29 yards. Seattle got a field goal out of the drive in closing out a 50-17 win. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said after the game that...

QCS Staff Predictions: Seahawks at Bills

Marshawn Lynch will take on the Bills for the first time since they traded him to Seattle in 2010. John Snyder: Seahawks 27-10 Seattle tops Buffalo in almost every main position.  Russell Wilson is playing great and coming off the 59-0 won against the cardinals, the defense is the X factor. Even without some of the top corners, Richard Sherman is a stud and will cause Fitzpatrick...

Seahawks vs. Buffalo Bills Week 15 game balls & stats

Another blow out I don’t know who the hell kidnapped my beloved Seahawks and replaced them with football players who can actually put up mass amounts of points, but I love them dearly! Again, the Seattle Seahawks put up 50 plus points against a lesser opponent this week. Their two game point total is now 108, which ties the New England Patriots, from earlier this year, as the third...
