Earlier this week, the Jets' secondary held what Darrelle Revis described as a "serious talk" about the unit's goals for the second half of the season. The gist of the discussion was this: We need more interceptions. According to Revis, secondary coach Dennis Thurman started the discussion. Revis spoke. So did Kerry Rhodes. And Lito Sheppard. And Jim Leonhard. Basically, the starters. As well as the defense is playing (ranked No. 3 overall), they're not intercepting many balls. Consider the interception scorecard: Revis 2, Leonhard 1, Dwight Lowery 1, Eric Smith 1 and Sheppard 1. Rhodes has 0.
