During Sunday’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, corner back DeAngelo Hall was kicked out of the game for getting in the face of two referees and screaming at them. Now, head coach Mike Shanahan believes he should be without the corner for the team’s week 9 game against Carolina.
Shanahan told the Washington Post,
“Any time you get kicked out of a game, ejected, there’s a chance of missing a game or two, depending on what they decide,”

Hall thought Steelers receiver Emmanuel Sanders had taken a cheap shot at him, and he was yelling at the officials for not throwing a flag at Sanders. Shanahan said he agreed with Hall that Sanders should have been flagged on the play, and he even agreed with Hall’s decision to approach the officials and ask why Sanders hadn’t been flagged. But once Hall took off his helmet, got into the face of the officials, yelled at them and refused to stop after being told repeatedly to go to his sideline, Hall had clearly crossed the line.
“Until he took his helmet off, it’s exactly what I ask our guys to do,” Shanahan said. Initially I thought he did everything perfect. . . . There’s no excuse for having personal fouls, no matter what happens. . . . You still have to handle yourself the right way.”
The NFL should announce this week whether or not Hall is suspended for Sunday’s game
