Bears rookie DE Shea McClellin’s (concussion) has been cleared to resume practicing. He’ll be ready to roll for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. Chicago’s first-round pick has nine tackles and 2.5 sacks through his first nine career games.
After getting drafted by Chicago, the Chicago Sun-Times stated that McClellin will play opposite Julius Peppers at left defensive end, with Chicago Sun-Times writer Sean Jensen saying that McClellin could replace middle-linebacker Brian Urlacher in the event that he leaves the team or retires.
He better step it up if they expect him to replace either Peppers or Urlacher.

Alshon Jeffery will only be sidelined for 2-4 weeks
The Bears have confirmed Alshon Jeffery will be sidelined 2-4 weeks after undergoing a knee scope on Wednesday. Coach Lovie Smith referred to it as a “minor” scope.
