Shortened or Cancelled Season? I Say: Bring It On

It's time to have an NFL intervention. Maybe you've seen the show on A&E, where some drug-addled person is confronted by their loved ones to convince them to stop destroying themselves. The important line to take from that is "We love you too much to let this continue." Tough love at its finest. And that sentiment is what we, as Packer and NFL fans, need to send to the NFL owners and NFLPA in a clear, concise, and consistent message: go ahead and cancel games. We can live without you. Hard to do, telling the Packers and football that we really don't care that much if they decide to postpone or cancel the season? Absolutely. And do we really believe it? Of course we don't, just like people in an intervention don't WANT that person out of their lives to face a grim fate alone.
