With the October 30 NFL trade deadline approaching, all 32 General Managers in the league will be searching for ways to improve their teams. After seven weeks of football, it is eveident as to where each team stands, whether they are in a contending or rebuilding year and what needs each squad is looking to fill. At a record of 3-3, the Miami Dolphins are neither looking to trade assets for picks nor looking for veterans that will push the team over the top in order to make a championship run. Instead, Miami will be looking to add players that fit the long term plan of this franchise as well as being able to make an impact this season and hopefully assist the team in making the playoffs. One of the Dolphins most interesting assets is a player that has come into high demand in recent weeks, backup quarterback Matt Moore. With several teams in need of a starting quarterback, Moore has become a viable option for the remaining ten weeks of the season. The 28 year old appeared in 13 games...

The Miami Dolphins returned to the practice field on Monday, following 4 straight off days for the bye week. The Dolphins players seem energized after the break, ready to get some revenge on the Jets from their overtime loss earlier this season. Dolphins players are focused on the Jets, but also realize that they have a chance to make a run at the playoffs. Most importantly,...
The Miami Dolphins kicked up their feet and watched the craziness that is the AFC East, unravel a bit on Sunday. The Dolphins were on their bye week and the new CBA says that the team had to have 4 consecutive days without practice. That stretch for the Dolphins went from Thursday through Sunday. So the Dolphins had plenty of time Sunday to sit back and watch the madness of...
On Sunday, the Miami Dolphins players will be enjoying their last official day before their bye week fun comes to an end. The Dolphins players have been off since Wednesday afternoon and have been making the most of their much deserved time away from football. Reggie Bush and Sean Smith headed back home to California. Anthony Fasano was on the sidelines of the Notre Dame game...
For the first time since the 2008 season, Dolphins fans have the pleasure of looking at the NFL standings only to see that Miami is in a tie for first in the AFC East. At 3-3, the team has surpassed all the expectations set for them by both the media and the fan base. The Dolphins are one of six teams that have a week 7 bye and while many would argue that rest at this point in the...
When the infamous photo of Michael Phelps with his mouth pressed against a bong hit the internet more than three years ago, former Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder was not surprised. Crowder, who is now a mid-day host on 560 WQAM’s “The Jorge Sedano Show” in Miami, said he saw Phelps smoking weed no more than three weeks prior to the picture coming out. And...
There is a fine line between passion and hate… The emotion that enables the concise thoughts associated with passion is only slightly detached from the enraged hasty decisions of hate. In the case of...

News is circulating that Miami native and former Pro-Bowl receiver Dwayne Bowe wants out of Kansas City. His contract expires this off-season, and the Dolphins need a franchise pass catcher. Match made in heaven no? Bowe has 39 touchdowns to his credit, but recently turned 28. Signing him to a multi-year deal may not be a financially savvy decision for a predominantly youthful franchise...
After starting the season 1-3, including consecutive 'should have been wins' against New York and Arizona, the Miami Dolphins avoided disaster by winning two in a row against Cincinnati and St. Louis. Although the Dolphins defense is the main reason the team finds itself with the chance to win most games, rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill has been impressive, while seemingly...
DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -- Just about every member of the Miami Dolphins had a different bye-week itinerary.
Richie Incognito went to the beach and did little else. Brian Hartline watched Ohio State. Paul Soliai walked in a 5-kilometer race for breast cancer awareness and tried to avoid even thinking about football. Lamar Miller tailgated at the Miami-Florida State game. Cameron Wake attempted...

They say one of the worst things you can do in the NFL is look at the schedule and plan wins and losses. Well the most important thing in the NFL is winning the games you should win.
As the outspoken Dolphins offensive line statement put it best,

IT'S OFFICIALLY JETS WEEK #TURNUP
The Dolphins enter Jets week the healthier and quite frankly...
The last time these two bitter rivals met things were quite different, Revis and Holmes were both in the lineup, Dustin Keller was out and well the Dolphins just weren’t the same team they are today. The two teams meet again for the 2nd and final time this season and both teams have plenty on the line. At 3-4 the Jets find themselves in a bit of a whole but not out of the playoff...
In the NFL it's never a good idea to go down the schedule and mark down W's and L's. That being said it is also very important in the NFL to win the games that your suppose to win. This week the Dolphins enter Jets week, healthy, well rested and confident.
The Jets don't have the same fortune, coming off a tough loss to New England and clearly not the same team they...
Former Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder (who is also a former Florida Gator) is now working as a mid-day radio show host for the 560 WQM radio station. It appears that his new found outlet has given him a new sense of urgency to tell stories from years past that would have been a bit incriminating had they been told sooner. Most have seen the infamous photo of Michael...
