Should the Jets pursue David Garrard?

David Garrard? Possible backup QB? With Nick Mangold out for at least two weeks and the Jets offensive line situation looking bleak, we should all be concerned. One of the major things to be aware of is the health of Mark Sanchez. With Nick Mangold, the Jets offensive line is shaky at best. Without Nick Mangold, the Jets offensive line is unreliable and terrifying to think about. If Wayne Hunter keeps missing blocks off the right edge, it might not be long before Mark Sanchez gets knocked out of a game and we have Mark Brunell leading the Jets. And as much as I like Brunell as a seasoned veteran and mentor to Sanchez, I don’t trust him to win games anymore as a starter in the NFL. This all brings me to my point, should the Jets pursue David Garrard to be backup Mark Sanchez?
