David Garrard? Possible backup QB? With Nick Mangold out for at least two weeks and the Jets offensive line situation looking bleak, we should all be concerned. One of the major things to be aware of is the health of Mark Sanchez. With Nick Mangold, the Jets offensive line is shaky at best. Without Nick Mangold, the Jets offensive line is unreliable and terrifying to think about. If Wayne Hunter keeps missing blocks off the right edge, it might not be long before Mark Sanchez gets knocked out of a game and we have Mark Brunell leading the Jets. • As a Jets fan I agree that they should try to sign Garrad or any other veteran available. If Sanchez gets hurt the season is over. Let's face it Brunnell is not the answer. This is one area where I question Mr. T.,they spend money on free agents but don't have a viable backup quaterback. And right now I think that Mark is just an average QB. I also root for the Giants and feel the same way about Eli.I'm waiting for somebody to show me what makes him more than average. He didn't win the SuperBowl the team did (thanks Mr. Tyree). He shows no emotion, and as quaterback shows no leadership skills. What makes him better than average. I still cringe when I think that they traded Rivers for him,
