After watching Super Bowl XLVI yesterday, one thing is apparent, the New England Patriots need some speed at the wide receiver position. Would the New England Patriots sign Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson? The move makes perfect sense to me.
New England Patriots fans might object to the move because of the attitude issues which surround Jackson, but he’s been exceptionally moody in Philadelphia because he hasn’t received the long-term contract which he desired. There is a possibility that the Philadelphia Eagles could place the franchise tag on Jackson for next season, but I seriously believe after this season, he’s done in Philadelphia. Head coach Andy Reid is on the hot seat heading into 2012, and I don’t think he wants the distraction of another season of dealing with an unhappy DeSean Jackson.
Character and personality issues should not worry New England Patriots fans, head coach Bill Belichick has never met a player that he doesn’t think he can’t coach. He br...

After ending his season with a loss in the Super Bowl, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was there to be consoled by his Brazilian supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen.
Last week a private e-mail by Gisele, asking friends and family in advance of the Super Bowl to pray for Brady, was leaked to the media. In the message she wrote, “I kindly ask all of you to join me on this...

The New York Giants have won Super Bowl XLVI. Or, you might say, the New England Patriots lost it. While every losing team comes off a game thinking about missed plays that might have made a difference, the well-coached Patriots are usually a team without regrets. Not so this week, not for Wes Welker, whose key fourth-quarter drop changed the complexion of the game and opened...
There was a scary moment in last night’s Super Bowl XLVI, when QB Tom Brady was crushed by Giants DL Justin Tuck. He got up shaky, and doctors surrounded him.
Quickly, backup Brian Hoyer began to throw. Brady ended up going back in, but he finished 7 for his last 17, and he wasn’t the same.
After the game, I asked Hoyer what those moments were like.
“I just gotta be ready,...
Rob Gronkowski nearly hauled in Tom Brady's Hail Mary attempt as time expired in Super Bowl XLVI. But it doesn't matter to the Patriots tight end. Gronkowski said after the Patriots' 21-17 loss to the Giants that it doesn't matter how close he was to catching Brady's desperation heave because unless he actually caught it, the result of the game remains the same...
Tom Brady already has built an impressive Super Bowl legacy, but his bid to match the accomplishments of the game's all-time greats was snuffed out by the New York Giants - again.
Brady came up short in his bid to join Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana as the only four-time Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks when the New England Patriots fell to the New York Giants 21-17 in Super...
A season that began with heartbreak for New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft ended with another loss.
40) If you want to kill the Patriots defense, just tell them that every down is third39) Shaun Weather- ford is very, very excited about punting38) Brady took an intentional grounding for safety, just to ruin everyone's prop bet37) The Patriot defense can force turnovers, but only with 12 men on the field36) NBC didn't want to show Victor Cruz dancing after a touchdown right...
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Tom Brady overcame a rare early Super Bowl safety with a perfect 10-for-10 drive late in the second quarter, and his 4-yard touchdown pass to Danny Woodhead gave the New England Patriots a 10-9 lead over the New York Giants at halftime of the NFL championship game ...
Tom Brady's two long incompletions in the final minutes, and several missed chances throughout the game cost the New England Patriots a...
