RFA RB Michael Bush signed his tender this weekend and returned to the practice field for the Oakland Raiders, but should have the Oakland Raiders signed Michael Bush to a long-term deal? Bush returns to the backfield which also features RB Darren McFadden. The tandem teamed up to lead the Raiders to the second best rushing attack in 2010, averaging 155.9 yards per game.
As a restricted free agent, another team would have had to surrender a first-round pick in order to acquire Michael Bush, something which was highly unlikely. Bush signed his tender offer, a move which pays him $2.6 million dollars in 2011.
Bush has been a very productive back for the Raiders, even while splitting time with McFadden.
