Knowshon Moreno looked like the real deal coming into the league in 2009 out of Georgia. He had a nice size-speed combo and some solid hands. Oh how things have changed for Moreno.
He has deal with injuries that cost him three games in 2010 and nine games last year. Coming off a torn ACL makes 2012 a challenge out of the gate.
For starters, he lost his starting gig to Willis McGahee. While Willis turns 31 in October, he has had three seasons with the Ravens where he received 170 or fewer carries.

OL Philip Blake has signed with the team, meaning just two of the Broncos’ seven 2012 NFL Draft picks remain unsigned.

Fourth round draft pick center/guard Philip Blake has signed his rookie contract, leaving two draft picks left for the Denver Broncos to sign. The remaining two? Second round draft pick QB Brock Osweiler and third...

Denver Broncos top draft pick Derek Wolfe won’t be solely relegated to the defensive tackle position his rookie season. In fact, he could see more time at defensive end than DT, reports the Denver Post.
“(Wolfe’s) not a big tackle right now,” defensive...

The Denver Broncos‘ first mandatory mini-camp is less than two weeks away, meaning the clock is ticking for Matt Prater‘s decision: to hold out, or not to hold out.
Maybe he won’t have to decide at all. Klis reports –
The Broncos have made progress in recent days with Prater on a five-year deal. The team...
Denver Broncos Super Bowl XXXII Ring
The funny thing about this review is that I’ll be using the same photo from the offensive list. Super Bowl XXXII was simply an incredible moment in Denver Broncos history, especially for us fans. It wasn’t just a 38 year wait, but four Super Bowl losses – each more embarrassing than the previous. A view around the league that the Broncos...

Any Denver Broncos fan over the age twelve in 1997 would tell you, the victory in Super Bowl XXXII was the greatest sports moment they had ever experienced before or since. Super Bowls are typically filled with big time plays and this one was no different. The Broncos were 14 point underdogs to the defending champion Green Bay Packers and played out the role...
Name: Ben Garland
Pos: Defensive Lineman
Ht, Wt: 6’5″, 275*
College: Air Force
*Reports have Garland at 305
Ben Garland was an undrafted rookie for the Denver Broncos in 2010, a nose guard at Air Force the Broncos saw as a defensive end in their 3-4 defense. I can distinctly remember scouting Garland in training camp that year and coming away impressed...
Ty Warren is owed 4 million dollars this season and, after he has missed the entirety of the last 2 seasons with different injuries, the Broncos are unwilling to pay him that. They have asked him to take a pay cut down to around 1-1.5 million dollars for this season and he is currently contemplating if that’s something he’d like to do. His other options would be to get cut and...
The Broncos used a 2nd round pick on Derek Wolfe in the 2012 NFL Draft. Wolfe was a collegiate defensive tackle and defensive tackle is a major position of need for the Broncos. However, according to defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio, the Broncos plan to use Wolfe, 6-6 295, at defensive end in base packages and move him inside to defensive tackle on passing downs in sub packages...

Oh, this is epic!
Somebody or some group with a pretty good editor and creativity came up with the penultimate spoof.
The group humordy, which we suspect is a bit of a riff on perennial favorite Funny or Die, came up with a music video, set to the melody of the popular song by Gotye "Somebody that I used to know".
The result--"Some QB That I Used to Know"...
There was a spate of articles in the Star recently about what Peyton is up to.
I didn't read them.
It felt strange and foreign to overtly ignore news about someone that I cared so much about, a player whose every move was of daily interest to me for more than a decade.
At some point, I stopped in and tried to scan one of them, but that felt even more strange.
In case you haven’t been listening to the radio, this is a parody of Gotye’s “Somebody I Used To Know.” It focuses on a Indianapolis Colts fan and a Denver Broncos fan dealing with the departures of Peyton Manning and Tim Tebow from their team.
Can’t beat starting your day with a little football humor!
