Fantasy Football SPIN:
The Rams have become at a fixture at the top of April's draft and their anemic passing game holds a good amount of the blame. St Louis finished last season as the 30th ranked passing attack while averaging just 179 YPG. Former first overall pick Sam Bradford missed 6 games last season due to injury and has reported that his ankle won't be 100% until after this season (sounds like he should have had surgery months ago). Jeff Fisher will attempt to bring the Rams back to relevance but is fully expected to rely heavily on the ground game limiting the upside of all Rams players not named Steven Jackson. For now all members of the Rams passing game are off limits except in deeper PPR leagues (maybe Amendola) or dynasty formats (rookies Brian Quick / Chris Givens may be worth late round fliers).
BEST OF MAXIM
The Saint Louis Rams are once again ready to begin the regular season with a receiving core that looks like the extra’s names at the end of the movie. With the exception of Steve Smith, the Rams receiving core is literally unknown, and for good reason. Terrell Owens can catch the ball, is in great shape and the Rams could use the publicity.
The roller coaster that is the St. Louis Rams' preseason continued Saturday night, hitting another dip after losing 20-19 to the Dallas Cowboys at Cowboys Stadium.
Although the game was close on the scoreboard, the Cowboys were firmly in control throughout, despite starters Demarcus Ware, Miles Austin, Jason Witten, and Dez Bryant all missing the game. The Rams again flashed...
ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The St. Louis Rams have waived wide receiver Danario Alexander, a star at Missouri who has not been able to stay on the field in the NFL, with an injury settlement.
Alexander has had multiple surgeries on his left knee and has been dogged by a hamstring injury all summer, participating in a handful of practices and missing the first three preseason games. Alexander...

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- DeMarco Murray and Sam Bradford were college teammates at Oklahoma who have had some similarities in the NFL.
Both had standout rookies seasons, though a year apart -- running back Murray with the Dallas Cowboys last fall after St. Louis Rams quarterback Bradford's impressive debut as the NFL's offensive rookie of the year in 2010. There were also...

The New York Jets have had concerns about the right tackle spot throughout the preseason, and on Monday they tried to address that issue by acquiring Jason Smith from the St. Louis Rams, multiple media outlets reported Monday. In exchange, the Jets gave the Rams offensive tackle Wayne Hunter, who had been part of the problem for the Jets on the offensive line. In fact, both...
