The last time CBS’ top crew of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms saw a Bengals game it was last season’s opener in New England. Needless to say, things have certainly changed. The Bengals get their first true national exposure of the season on Sunday as the game against the Steelers will be aired to most of the nation. “The great thing about a rematch is seeing how they counter from the first game,” Simms said. “The Bengals have done a nice job of bringing Andy Dalton along because he looks very comfortable back there. The defense also jumps out because of the play of their defensive line and how they can stay fresh the entire game.” Simms thinks the game will be close but also does wonder how the Bengals secondary will do.
