The New York Giants have waived linebacker Clint Sintim after he failed a physical.
The Giants announced the move Thursday while adding they waived-injured defensive end Justin Trattou and signed defensive back-return specialist Laron Scott and defensive tackle Bobby Skinner.
Sintim suffered knee injuries in each of the past two season. The 2009 second-round draft pick has been on the physically unable to perform list.
Trattou, who appeared in six games last season, suffered ankle and heel injuries early in training camp.
Scott was waived by New Orleans on Aug. 6. He had a 67-yard kickoff return in the Hall of Fame game against Arizona the previous night.
Skinner played last season at Montclair State.

One of the biggest questions coming into the 2012 NFL
season for the New York Giants was who would join the tandem of Victor
Cruz and Hakeem Nicks to complete the passing-threat trio? With the
departure of Mario Manningham to the San Francisco 49ers, the defending

New York Giants punter Steve Weatherford took a video of defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul carrying cornerback Prince Amukamara to the cold tub and tossing him in.

He also has a new name.
Meet ''Young Osi,'' the defensive end who has a lot in common with his fellow position mate, Osi Umenyiora.
Tracy is a little undersized to be an end, but he has the same type of speed and explosive burst that helped make Umenyiora a two-time Pro Bowl...
Tom Coughlin is the best big-game coach in the game today. Our powerful point-spread database Spreadapedia also reveals that he's consistently a step ahead of public expectations. For example, he's .731 all-time when a 3-point favorite. Oh! His Giants are -3 vs. Dallas in Week 1.
Every season RDM obsesses on the NFL team win total over/unders. It’s one of the more fun bets in all of sports. A single well-placed bet turns an otherwise random team into a must see weekly event. Today we look at the 2012 New York Giants .

Players from both the New York Giants and Jets downplayed the hometown rivalry between the teams, but acknowledged that there's always a little extra buzz - even in preseason - when they get together.
Their matchup Saturday night at MetLife Stadium - a Jets home game - marks the teams' first meeting since the Giants won 29-14 on Christmas Eve, sparked by Victor...
