Bruce said Wednesday he'd know more about his role on Friday. But he was extremely curt today (Friday) in the locker room. He said he's already talked to the media this week. He did intimate he thought he could play, if called upon. Singletary said it would be up to offensive coordinator Jimmy Raye and Bruce to decide exactly what Bruce's role would be on game day. "I'm good with it either way," Singletary said. "I talked to both of them. I don't want to get Isaac in a situation he doesn't need to be. And I don't' want to put Jimmy in a situation where he has to rethink a lot of things. I don't want to do that, either. It shouldn't be that big of a deal." Singletary said he wanted to be respectful to the young receivers whose idea it was to have Bruce in uniform for one final time before he retires. Josh Morgan approached Singletary on Monday to ask that Bruce play in Sunday's game against the Rams. * * ...
