According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Eagles will place the franchise tag on wide receiver DeSean Jackson who’ll be a free agent once March 13th rolls around.

Report: Eagles won't let Jackson go without something in return
The Philadelphia Inquirer, citing league sources, reported Sunday that the Eagles won't let go of DeSean Jackson, whose contract is about to expire, without getting something in return. That would mean the Eagles are all but guaranteed to place the franchise tag on him if a deal isn't reached by March 5.
