The Blue Screen:
There could be 110,000 people packed into the $1.15 billion Jerry Jones Palace on Sunday night, experiencing what is being billed as one of the most incredible sports stadium ever built. And the Giants are excited about seeing it, too.
At least, they’re excited about seeing the big TV.
That was the talk of the locker room today, the 80-yard long, Jumbotron hanging (too low) over the center of the field. According to Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, players on the sideline will have to “really arch your neck” to see what he called “a pretty cool spectacle.”
But it sounds like many of the Giants plan to do just that.
“I’m actually excited to be the big TV,” said guard Chris Snee. “I might watch that one when we’re on defense.”
“I watch a lot of TV,” added defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka. “So for me to go out there and watch an 80-yard Jumbotron that’s going to be impressive.”
