The St. Louis Rams have found their match for trading the #2 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft and it’s the Washington Redskins. The Rams have been shopping their pick for the last couple weeks and they made one heck of a deal with the Skins. With Andrew Luck inevitably going to the Indianapolis Colts with the #1 pick, the Redskins will be able to take former Baylor QB Robert Griffin III. The Skins learned earlier this week that the weren’t going to be able to grab Peyton Manning, so they decided to make a bold move to get the #2 pick. In return for the #2 pick in the draft, the Rams will receive the #6 pick in this year’s draft from the Skins along with their 2nd round pick this year and their 1st round pick the next two years. It’s a steep cost for the Skins, but it will give them the potential franchise QB they’ve been searching for over the past 10+ years.
