FLORHAM PARK–It will be all hands on deck for Sunday’s game against the Eagles, minus Marquice Cole who is out after suffering a knee injury against the Chiefs.
Joe McKnight will be back wearing a brace on his right arm and will be returning kicks as usual. In the event he can’t at some point, his backups are Kyle Wilson and Antonio Cromartie.
Tracy Wilson could see his first significant action at safety as he is now the No. 1 guy behind Eric Smith and Brodney Pool.
Matt Slauson has become a go-to-guy in the locker room, so I thought I’d ask some probing questions of him in this week’s Q & A:
LZ: Who’s the toughest player you ever blocked?
MS: Well, let’s go with Kris Jenkins.
LZ: Interesting. In practice? Why him?
MS: Yes. Because he’s massive, strong and surprisingly fast.
LZ: What size dress shirt do you wear?
MS. I don’t know.
LZ: Neck? Sleeves?
MS: Neck is like a 20? Sleeve..I have no idea. My wife keeps a list of my measurements in her phone.
LZ: Best vacation you ever to...

I checked the lines of the NFL games today and to my shock and utter amazement, the New York Jets are 3 point underdogs against the Philadelphia Eagles. Yes, you heard me correct, the 8-5 Jets are UNDERDOGS...
This Sunday, when the New York Jets travel down to Philly to face Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles, there are going to be a lot of very nervous fans—from both sides. This past weekend, the Jets’ position in the AFC did a complete switch flip. They went from a team kind of in the hunt for a spot in the post season, to a team that currently sits in the No. 6 playoff seed...
The Jets’ offense appears to be on the right track after some rough stretches this season, and Jets coach Rex Ryan credits one player for that more than any other: Center Nick Mangold. Ryan was asked today about the offensive line looking much better now than it did earlier in the season, and he sang…
NFL gear for women has received a major fashion overhaul in recent years. Apparel and accessories are more suited to the wants and needs of female fans and the league developed a dedicated “NFL Women’s Apparel: Fit For You” campaign to recognize the female fan base. Fashion houses are also working to get in on the action, teaming up with pro teams to offer a fashion-forward...
So how exactly do you stop Michael Vick and his trio of speedy, explosive cohorts in running back LeSean McCoy and receivers DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin?
