Want to start out by apologizing for not writing a sleeper article the last 2 weeks. Conditions have prevented me from being able to do so, but now I’m back.
We are at a crucial part of the fantasy football season, and whether you are a playoff lock, trying to make a playoff push or playing spoiler it is your duty to try and win. On the final bye week we see the Vikings, Giants, Seahawks and Titans all off this week. That along with some injuries and you could be in need of a spot start, and that’s where this will help. Lets get started!
Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles.
Fans in Philly have been begging to see Foles start, and this week he will. Unfortunately it came at the expense of Michael Vick who suffered a severe concussion. Foles looked decent in his debut, but will be more prepared for his first career start this week. He also will be facing the Redskins who’s pass D is one of the worst in the league. The Redskins allow 303 passing yards per game and on average a...

Nick Foles practiced with the first team this week and stuck around for extra film work.
He's ready to make his first career NFL start for the Philadelphia Eagles.
All he needs now is to officially and publicly be named the starter. The Eagles again practiced another day without injured quarterback Michael Vick. The veteran has sat out since suffering a severe concussion in...

Since Philadelphia Eagles rookie QB Nick Foles is slated to make his first career start this Sunday, and perhaps play the remainder of the 2012 season, I’ve had a few people bring up the David Carr debate as a reason not to let him play yet.
What do I mean by that? In case you didn’t know or need a memory refresher, David Carr was the No. 1 overall pick...
Fantasy Footballers reliving the glory days of championships won during the 2010 season are waking up to a difficult reality this week – Michael Vick of the Philadelphia Eagles may have played his last fantasy relevant game this season and perhaps ever. In the world of fake football he had a good run, but in that same world we as owners can't afford to become nostalgic and...
The Philadelphia Eagles were begin the Nick Foles era on Sunday, as its time for Michael Vick to ride off into the sunset and appreciate his work in Philly. The post Michael Vick, Nick Foles And New Beginnings In Philadelphia appeared first on The Sports Fan Journal.
1. Danario Alexander is a Near Must-Own in 12-Team Leagues
His knees probably don't have long before they start to flare up again, but until they do, Alexander should be owned in most formats now that he's emerged in San Diego. He played more snaps than any other Charger receiver against Tampa Bay on Sunday and, given the ineptitude of the players around him, it's an...
Eagles coach Andy Reid said Monday that quarterback Michael Vick has a "pretty significant" concussion, making it likely that rookie Nick Foles will get his first pro start Sunday against the Washington Redskins. Foles, the Eagles' third-round pick out of the University of Arizona, replaced Vick early in the second quarter of Sunday's 38-23 loss to the Dallas...
Michael Vick is not expected to start Sunday by anyone… but the Philadelphia Eagles have not confirmed anything. Vick remains at home resting following a concussion sustained in last weekends game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Nick Foles filled in at quarterback after Vick left the game. The rookie seeing his first game action was 22-for-32 for 219 yards and a touchdown. He also...
Meet the new turnover machine
So with nominal starting QB Michael Vick concussed, the smattering of people who still admit to watching the Eagles get to see rookie QB Nick Foles, the first rookie QB to throw a touchdown for the team since, well, I'd look it up but who gives a flying fart at a rolling doughnut... um, right, let's end this sentence... play the Redskins next...
The Washington Redskins have been unbelievably bad against rookie quarterbacks. Historically bad. Eight-losses-in-a-row bad.
They are the only NFL team to lose eight straight against rookie QBs since at least 1950, according to STATS.
Enter Nick Foles, the third-round pick from Arizona who is all but certain to make his first NFL start for the Philadelphia Eagles against the Redskins...
When Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick went down with a concussion this past Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys I’m sure there was a grouping of Redskins fans who let out a cheer. After all, in spite of his dismal play this season (serves him right for declaring the Eagles a dynasty before they had won anything) Vick is still one of those players who can take over a game...
Michael Vick benching rumors swilled for weeks. While Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid could not pull the plug on Vick, for fear of losing his own job, the decision was made for him Sunday. Vick was knocked out of the Eagles game against the Dallas Cowboys after suffering a concussion.
Prior to the concussion Vick had been a turn over machine for the Eagles who have now lost...
A lot to talk about in the Eagles loss to the Dallas Cowboys, so let's just dive right in.Here are five things we learned.Eagles Fans Will No Longer Have to Wonder "What If" When it Comes to Nick FolesPhiladelphia fans in general have no qualms about jumping ship when it comes to a player or coach who is under-performing. Even players and coaches with a history of winning...
Your hopes and dreams are coming near a conclusion. Are you a fantasy football playoff team? Are you a spoiler? Do you really have no idea what you are?
It's gonna take a miracle now for the Eagles to get to the post-season in 2012.. and certainly nothing short of a 7-0 run.
But miracles do happen. So I won't give my surrender speech just yet...
Mike Vick got knocked out of the game with double vision and concussion symptoms. Nick Foles entered the game as a rookie QB. "Shaggy" almost pulled it off...but...
