We know it’s just preseason game #2, but when you have your starters out there for a  half, you’re giving up sacks, you’re fumbling, you’re throwing pick six’s, something is wrong. Very wrong.

The New York Giants spanked the Jets 26-3 to claim the title of Kings of New York, at least for the time being.

Rookie Jayron Hosley turned an interception off of Sanchez for a 77-yard touchdown, and the Jets QB were sacked a total of 7 times. Sanchez (9 of 11 for 59 yards) was under pressure pretty much on every down, and Tim Tebow didn’t fare much better in the second half.

The Giants were relentless, sacking Tebow four times. He finished 5 of 14 for 69 yards and led the team downfield for their only points of the game, a 30-yard field goal. It could’ve been more if Tebow didn’t short hop a pass to a wide-open Stephen Hill in the end zone.

"I wanted to throw it to the pylon and low," Tebow told ESPN, "but I didn't want to throw it that low."

The Giants looked in midseason form. The Jets looked in preseason form. Granted, the Jets offense is missing some key components; wide receivers Santonio Holmes, Jeremy Kerley and Chaz Schilens all injured.

"We struggled,” Sanchez said. “We were good in spurts, but I know we can play better than that up front. I know we can block those four-man rush looks. I've seen our guys do it. And, I know we have the right personnel."
