Typically speaking, sports fans tend to worry about two things – the past and the future. They’ll debate who was the greatest player of all-time, while also spending hours discussing whether or not a rookie is going to be develop into an All-Pro. Both are fun exercises, things that keep fans engaged and the beer flowing at the local tavern. But they miss out on what is most important – the present. Forget about yesterday. Never mind tomorrow. Let’s talk about today. Who are the best players in the NFL right now? Who can help a team win the Super Bowl this season? Who is writing a legacy with each passing week? Those are the questions the editors at cover32 seek to answer in this series, “Top 10 in 2014.” In the coming weeks, every positions – as well as head coach, general manager and other off-field areas – will be graded, evaluated and ranked. Narrowing it down to the top 10 was a tricky proposition. To see the results, click here. You may also be interested in:Snubbed? Tim Wright part of Tampa Bay Buccaneers depth at TE

The 2013 NFL season is one that most, if not all, Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ fans would like to forget. Only a handful of bright spots came from the Bucs 2013 season, and one of them was tight end Tim Wright. The rookie out of Rutgers was originally listed as a wide receiver, but was turned into a tight end and excelled at the position. Wright was ranked second on the team in 2013...

McCoy expects the team to feed off the defensive line

Back in the Buccaneers’ glory days, the team won a championship from winning games in the trenches. Simeon Rice, Warren Sapp, and Anthony McFarland were all contributors of the team’s historic run. But it wasn’t just that moment that put those three and others across the defensive line on the map. Instead it was their consistent and dominant play for several years that did...

7th Overall Pick: Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&MA lot of people thought Manziel would be the pick if he fell to Tampa, but the big wideout was too much for them to pass up. They've needed another threat to pair with Jackson, and now they have found another big bodied receiver to throw to. Josh McCown: The grizzled journeyman who shined under a small sampling last year with Chicago. Was that small...
