At one point, back when I was dreaming that Troy Smith would actually develop into a starting NFL QB, I was all for keeping Big Joe on the bench this year. But after seeing what our beloved 'Vens have done in 3 preseason games, it's pretty obvious we are going to SUCK DONKEY BALLS, so why not let the kid start right off the bat and learn on the job? I just don't see him getting "Boller-ized" in the process; the main reason being he would not be taking charge of a team anyone expects to go anywhere this year. Boller took over a team that still had high hopes. If this team, or any of us, have high hopes this season...we are nothing short of delusional. We have NO veteran QB, we have no OT's, our starting CB's are OLD, our backup CB's are lousy, we continually have starters missing time due to injury - most noticeable our two best offensive weapons (Heap and McGahee). I think the organization needs to shelve any playoff aspirations this season an...
