They’re not an easy team to read, our Giants.
They played sloppy in the first game against Carolina, trailed at halftime and came back to win 31-18. They were annihilated by the Colts in Indy 38-14 on Sunday Night Football, and pretty much did nothing right in that game, being dominated on both sides of the ball. Then they out-gained the Titans by 200 yards and played decent defense but made so many critical mistakes that they wound up losing 29-10.
And then this past Sunday, the Giants made us remember that 12-sack performance against the Eagles three years ago. It was actually almost deja vu, as the Giants registered 10 sacks, including 9 of Jay Cutler in the first half, knocking him out of the game. They were about as dominant on defense as any Giants’ team ever. The offense sputtered before finding its groove and scoring 2 touchdowns to win 17-3.
So now what? Now, the Giants go on the road to Houston, facing a Texans team that has arguably the most prolific off...
