One of the NFL's hottest offensive line commodities is set to make his second stop on a free-agency tour.
After meeting with the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday, a source told FOXSports.com that Eric Winston is heading to Kansas City for a Thursday meeting with the Chiefs.
St. Louis and Baltimore also have shown strong interest, the source said.
Winston is the most attractive right tackle on the free-agent market after his surprising release Monday by Houston. Winston, 28, started every game the past five seasons for one of the NFL's most prolific offenses.
The Dolphins are seeking to bolster the right side of their offensive line with both 2011 starters (guard Vernon Carey and tackle Mark Colombo) now free agents. As first reported by FOXSports.com, Cleveland guard/tackle Artis Hicks is meeting Wednesday night with the Dolphins.

There is an asterisk attached to the surprising release of long-time Houston Texans right tackle Eric Winston.
A source told FOXSports.com that Winston was listed under the "waived/failed physical" designation by the Texans when cut. Winston, though, told FOXSports.com that the billing stems from his having undergone arthroscopic ankle surgery in February.

The first day of the NFL's free agency period has come and past and, thus far, the Jets have yet to make a move. No need to fret, we've all heard the children's parable about the tortoise and the hare before.Speculation continues to swirl around the Jets, who've had a knack for making a splash in free agency in years past, as their name has been linked to everyone...
The St. Louis Rams have finally realized that they need to upgrade their offensive line. While fans may not like the direction they’re going in that search I think it’s actually pretty smart. Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the Rams are currently in talks with Atlanta Falcons center Todd McClure and Houston Texans tackle Eric Winston.
Earlier this week I wrote about how the Browns needed to address the offensive line in free agency. This is not exactly what I had in mind.
If you aren’t familiar with twitter’s format, those would be consecutive tweets that the Browns (PR department) sent out to their followers. The point of putting the tweets here isn’t to blast the PR department. They are doing what they...
The Texans made a head scratching move yesterday, cutting Eric Winston, their right tackle who was ProFootballFocus’ 11th rated offensive tackle and who had not missed a start since 2006. Winston was owed 5.5 million in 2012, but you can’t argue he’s not worth that. In a weak offensive tackle class that includes the injury prone (Jared Gaither, Demetrius Bell), the unproven...
