Philly Sports World:
If the Philadelphia Eagles are going to replace defensive coordinator Juan Castillo, it does not look like it will be with former Rams Head Coach Steve Spagnulo. Multiple outlets are reporting that Steve Spagnulo is set to join the New Orleans Saints.
Spagnulo has been linked to the Philadelphia Eagles since he was still the head coach of the St. Louis Rams. Spagnulo, who used to work for the Eagles, has maintained a house in Philadelphia, and has many other links to the area (his wife is from Philly.)
When first year defensive coordinator Juan Castillo was on the hot seat, fairly or not, rumors began to fly that Andy Reid would bring in Spagnulo, a former Super Bowl winning defensive coordinator for the Giants to replace Castillo.
All of those rumors began to fray over the past couple of weeks as Spagnulo became a candidate for other jobs. Spags interviewed in New Orleans and will reportedly accept the job there.
In the meantime, Juan Castillo’s future still hasn’t been decided...

Eagles owner Jeffery Lurie said that he believes Andy Reid can get the job done next year, and Las Vegas apparently agrees.
Even though the 2012 season is not yet over, the odds for next seasons Super Bowl winner is already out. The Eagles came in at 12-1, leaving them tied for 4th.
It's easy to understand why- the Eagles have one of the most talented teams in the league, and...

As many may have heard, the Philadelphia Eagles brought in former Bills quarterback Trent Edwards for a workout.
There’s nothing imminent as far as signing him, and it doesn’t seem all that exciting. Edwards is an also-ran quarterback who has never distinguished himself in four seasons and wasn’t even playing football last year.
At most, Edwards...
In case you missed it, the New Orleans Saints hired former Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo to be their defensive coordinator yesterday. Spags, despite his losing tenure in St. Louis, is regarded as one of the finest defensive coaches in the sport. Any number of teams could have used him, but it was the Saints who acted swiftly and decisively, immediately improving their defense...
The Indianapolis Colts announced the firing of head coach Jim Caldwell yesterday in light of a 2-14 record, minus the talents of Peyton Manning, who has been out all season due to neck surgery. While the Colts’ 2011 season is just plain sad, the firing of Caldwell makes this football fan wonder (yet again) why other head coaches such as the Philadelphia Eagles’ Andy Reid keeps...
Andy Reid is a sinner for allowing Steve Spagnuolo to become a Saint. A New Orleans Saint, that is. On Thursday evening, Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reported via twitter that Spags has agreed to run the Saints’ defense in 2012.
It was around this time last year when every Eagles fan let out a collective “WHAT THE <fill in expletive here>?!”...
A few weeks ago, in defending his decision to bring Andy Reid back for a 14th season as head coach, Eagles...
