Tim Tebow's NFL season is over, and he's still taking jabs. In a photo posted on Twitter by New York native Scott Hochenburg, Tebow takes a seat on the bench in a display at a Dick's Sporting Goods store at Palisades Mall in West Nyack, N.Y. The Tebow mannequin, No. 15, is seen sitting on the bench next to Mark Sanchez (No. 6) in a display of New York Jets and New York Giants players. It never worked out for Tebow in New York, who failed to beat out Sanchez for the starting QB job and was used seldomly all season. The Jets failed to make the former Heisman Trophy winner useful outside of occasional wildcat sets. Doesn't look like Tebow's mannequin is going anywhere anytime soon. The real Tebow will have a shot at redemption in 2013 when he hopefully signs with a new team. The Associated Press contributed to this report.

  • How is the store mocking Tebow? If Tebow wanted to sit on the bench all season then THAT would be mocking him.
This writer really needs a dictionary, and maybe some sort of journalism course.

On another note, Tebow should take a day and go to that sporting goods store and sit where the mannequin is, that would be hilarious.

Tim Tebow Can Succeed in NFL if Given Right Setup at Quarterback, Urban Meyer Says

Two things are readily apparent after Tim Tebow‘s three years in the NFL. First, he is not ever going to be a good traditional quarterback. Second, he does not want to — or cannot — be used primarily as an option player, such as in wildcat sets. But what is still undetermined is whether Tebow can be a good, run-oriented quarterback if given the right offense. Former Florida...

Tebow relegated to bench in NYC sporting goods store display

Tebowmania was at a peak when the Jets brought Wildcat quarterback Tim Tebow over from the Denver Broncos last winter. The darling of the NFL went from riding a wave of popularity to riding the pine. Now one New York City sporting goods store has used Tebow's status on the bench to help promoting New York Jets merchandise. According to Darren Rovell's Twitter account, a...

5 things Dicks Sporting Goods can do with Tim Tebow

Dick's Sporting Goods is on to something. The Dicks's store in West Nyack, NY, creatively displayed the dummy bearing Tebow's jersey as benched in a display that set every other Jets and Giants player in a manly stance. You might say the display diss'd Tebow, but I think it mocked the Jets for their wasteful trade for a first-round Draft pick player...

Video: Tim Tebow and Tom Rinaldi share a moment

Florida could have actually used Tim Tebow last night in the Sugar Bowl as they got smashed by Louisville.  It's hard to remember, but Tebow was once one of the great college football players in history with a Heisman Trophy and two national championships before he became a human debate pinata.  He was there in New Orleans to watch the Gators defeat in person, and wouldn'...

Sporting goods store jabs Tebow, Jets?

Found in what is assumed to be a Dick’s Sporting Goods store in the New York/New Jersey area is this display of mannequins dressed as several prominent players from the New York Jets. Most of the team’s stars are represented in the display, including Nick Mangold, Santonio Holmes, Bart Scott, Mark “Buttfumble” Sanchez, and Tim Tebow, who is appropriately the only one found...

Dick’s Sporting Goods Takes Hilarious Cheap Shot at Jets, Tim Tebow With Jersey Display (Photo)

The Jets aren’t even in the playoffs but they’re the ones getting all the headlines — for all the wrong reasons. From firing key staff members to dealing with a highly publicized quarterback controversy, the Jets have their hands full this offseason, and one New York store is making the most of their embarrassing campaign by taking one last cheap shot at the team’s decisions involving...

Tebow Benched In Sporting Goods Store Display

Poor Tim Tebow. It seems like even after last year’s miracle run with the Denver Broncos he still can’t catch a break. The worst part is that it’s really through no fault of his own. He’s taken roughly 80 snaps this season and happened to be injured the one week they finally had no choice but to replace Mark Sanchez. Then he’s suddenly the third string quarterback and...

NY Jets display at Dick's Sporting Goods Mocks Tebow

At a Dick's Sporting Goods in New York someone decided to have some fun with the Jets in this store display. As you can see, Tim Tebow is riding the bench. And, of course, we're pretty sure Mark Sanchez has fumbled the football. Source: reddit.com/r/nfl/ Each week The Mac Bros. offer up free fantasy football picks. Dick’s Sporting Goods in New York City takes a shot at Tim Tebow

On the football field and at Dick’s Sporting Goods in New York City, Tim Tebow rides the bench. As if Tim Tebow hasn’t taken enough criticism during the last few weeks of the season for reportedly wanting out of the wildcat and “quitting” on the Jets, a New York City Dick’s Sporting Goods store took the trashing of Tebow to a whole new level. The photo (above) of Tebow’s...

Tim Tebow Will Be An Arizona Cardinal In 2013

Tim Tebow is not for everyone, he is a limited passer and needs to be with a coach and team that will work with him and build around his limitations. For sports fans tired of hearing the endless speculation about Tim Tebow’s future and Dwight Howard’s next team, be forewarned: 2013 could be just as bad. Photo: Rex Ryan has tattoo with likeness of wife, Mark Sanchez, and Tim Tebow

Check out the ink that New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan apparently sports on his right bicep.I'm no expert, but it appears to be a tattoo of his wife wearing nothing but a No. 6 New York Jets jersey -- the same as much-maligned quarterback Mark Sanchez. Oh, and did I mention that the tattoo's likeness also resembles Jets quarterback Tim Tebow's signature "Tebowing...
