LaRon Landry drawing plenty of interest

According to Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports, free agent safety LaRon Landry visited the New England Patriots on Friday. Next he’ll visit the New York Jets and Detroit Lions. The Chicago Bears have also showed interest in Landry. Landry is certainly one of the most talented safeties in the NFL, but after being hampered by the same Achilles injury for two straight seasons, I wouldn’t sign him.

Tired of hearing the Redskins overpaid for RG3 and Pierre Garcon? Read this.

Mike Holmgren told me everything I need to know about the Washington Redskins trade-up for the Rams' slot in the 2012 NFL Draft. Why else would the president of the Cleveland Browns have to explain to season ticket holders that he lost the bid to trade up for the rights to Robert Griffin III? "I'm not going to tell you exactly what we offered, but I will say what we...

Royal was at Redskins Park when free agency opened and Mike Shanahan nearly got him in the fold with a reported two-year, $12 million contract. We can't say that Washington lost Royal. We never really had him. But, Royal...

Redskins TE Fred Davis Signs One-Year Franchise Tender

The Washington Redskins announced that tight end Fred Davis has signed his one-year franchise tender. By signing the tender, Davis is locked in with the Redskins in 2012. The deal does not preclude the Redskins or Davis from negotiating a longer-team contract. “We franchised Fred because he was our most valuable free agent and we couldn’t get a deal done [before free agency],...

The Washington Redskins have restructured center Will Montgomery’s contract to gain salary cap space. 2012 Redskins and Jaguars off season preview

Well things have revved up in the NFL and I have been more than lackadaisical in my coverage. What that means is that I was unable to get most of the teams taken care of, I mean I only got 5 teams taken care of, but I nailed the Bucs and Rams and what they were going to do, so I feel great about what I did write prior to the free agent frenzy beginning. So that means I got to get...

Robert Griffin III is proving to be this year's prize. The Redskins proved to be more brazen than the Browns in their attempt to grab a franchise player.
