The Rams have lost four games in a row by a combined score of 103-40.  The Bengals have lost four of their last five games, but this is a big game for them as far as making the playoffs are concerned.  Here is a look at the matchups in this game: When the Rams have the ball:  The Rams are starting Kellen Clemens at QB in this game, so look for them to lean on RB Steven Jackson to try to carry them home both running and catching the ball out of the backfield.  The problem with that philosophy is that the Bengals are only giving up 100.0 yards rushing per game and 3.7 yards per carry so far this year.  Jackson will have to fight for every yard he gets tomorrow.  Rams’ QBs have been sacked 46 times already this year, so Clemens is going to have to get rid of the ball quickly tomorrow.  The Rams are going to need a WR or TE to step up as the Bengals will likely be double covering WR Brandon Lloyd. Kellen Clemens to get the start for St. Louis Rams Sunday

The quarterback situation for the St. Louis Rams has been bleak this season and with second-year QB Sam Bradford dealing with an ailing ankle and QB A.J. Feeley out with a broken thumb, the St. Louis Rams will give the starting nod to QB Kellen Clemens this week. The Rams are hosting the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Kellen Clemens was signed off waivers last week after...

Rams have nothing to play for but the future

ST. LOUIS Long after his team's latest loss, Kellen Clemens slouched in front of his locker and leafed through a stats packet that told a common story. On Dec. 7, the St. Louis Rams claimed the former New York Jets and Houston Texas quarterback off waivers to serve as a backup to Sam Bradford and A.J. Feeley after injuries sidelined both players. Clemens flipped through the...

Kellen Clemens is a starter again

Once upon a time, Kellen Clemens was a “quarterback of the future” in New York. He started eight games in 2007, then Brett Favre arrived, and Clemens has made only one more start since. Until now. (Excited yet?) The Rams are expected to start Clemens on Sunday with Sam Bradford (ankle) officially doubtful after not…

QB Clemens in line to start for Rams

St. Louis Rams quarterbacks Sam Bradford and A.J. Feeley both sat out practice Friday, putting newly acquired Kellen Clemens in line to start Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Bradford aggravated an ankle injury in Monday's game against the Seattle Seahawks and is in a walking boot. Feeley sustained a broken right thumb in a 26-0 loss to San Francisco on Dec...

Rams struggle again in 20-13 loss to Bengals

Kellen Clemens is still getting to know his teammates. The stand-in quarterback did just about as well as could be expected running the NFL's worst offense.

Injuries force Rams to start QB Clemens (AP)

Quarterback Sam Bradford is not active for the St. Louis Rams' game against the Cincinnati Bengals, missing his fourth start with a high left ankle sprain. Backup quarterback A.J. Feeley (thumb) also is inactive for the second straight week, leaving Kellen Clemens, acquired last week, set to make his first start since Dec.

Rams hang in there but lose to Bengals

The Rams were game but lost yet another one, 20-13, to the Bengals at home.  Fantasy Spin: Kellen Clemens had 229 yards and a TD in relief of Sam Bradford. Steven Jackson had 71 yards rushing and added 72 yards on 9 catches. Danario Alexander had 3 catches for 52 yards and a TD while Brandon Lloyd added 42 yards on 5 catches.

Steven Jackson is Rams Sole Bright Spot, Key to Week 15 Victory

*Authors note; this article was written the Saturday night before the Bengals – Rams game. As a St Louis Rams fan there is much to be humbled by at this point in the season, however in an attempt to demonstrate that there does maintain some amount of heart in this shattered club, I am predicting that the Rams (2-11) will beat the Bengals (7-6) Sunday in St. Louis. The quarterback...
