No. 1 Jared Cook Continues To Be A BeastCook’s 141-yard, 2 touchdown day versus the Arizona Cardinals was just the beginning to what this guy is going to accomplish this season. Throughout the game Cook showed the he was Sam Bradford’s favorite target and that should continue on Sunday. The Falcons surrendered 357 receiving yards last Sunday to the New Orleans Saints and 45 of those yards were to TE Jimmy Graham. Graham also found the end zone. And while 45 yards would seem to be an off day for Graham, the box score indicates that it may have been because Drew Brees spread the ball around to seven different receivers. Bradford doesn’t have that luxury, as his options are somewhat limited, which is a good thing for Cook. Bradford will continue to look for Cook often and he will again find the end zone at least twice on Sunday. No. 2 Steven Jackson Finds Pay Dirt Against His Old TeamSteven Jackson’s opening game with the Falcons wasn’t a bad one, but it could have been better. Averaging seven yards per carry, Jackson rushed for 77 yards and also pulled in five catches for 45 yards. Not a bad day, but the Falcons have higher expectations for Jackson. Against his old team, look for Jackson to break the century mark in rushing. The Falcons' offensive line did a less than stellar job of protecting Matt Ryan against the Saints, giving up three sacks, while also limiting the effectiveness of their run game. Atlanta has their sights set on the Super Bowl and they know that starting the season off 0-2 will make it very difficult to get there. They also know that if they are going to get there, Jackson is going to have to be a consistent part of their success. Look for Jackson to rush for 100+ yards and a touchdown.No. 3 Julio Jones Will Be The ManWhile Jackson will be sure to make his mark on the field and the stat sheet, it will be Julio Jones making the biggest impact for the Falcons. With Roddy White likely to be a decoy for another week, look for Jones to step up and make big plays over and over again. Harry Douglas did a great job last week, hauling in four passes for 93 yards, but it was Jones who was targeted the most by Ryan against the Saints and it will be the same this Sunday. The running game should open up more opportunities for the passing game and when it does, look for Jones to be streaking down the side line for the long touchdown pass. Expect Jones to run for 120+yards and two touchdowns.
