Every NFL team has a 52 man roster. On every roster there tends to be a least loved and most loved player. The terminology tends to be most hated but when I asked fans in the fan sites who is the most hated most of them said that they do not hate any fans on the roster. It's things like that which make me so proud to be a Rams fan! It was a little bit hard to come up with a consensus for least loved player but after looking at statistics and performances, I was able to pick a player.

Least Loved

Jason Smith hasn't done anything to get in trouble in the off-seasons, but the only thing he has managed to do during the regular seasons has been to get demoted. The right tackle is one of the main players who protects the quarterback. Sam Bradford hasn't been able to prosper as a quarterback since he hasn't gotten the protection he needed. Jason Smith has a big role to play on the team, that is when he's actually playing. In 2011 Jason Smith only played six games. In ...

Silence of the Rams: QB Sam Bradford Struggling

The Rams have become at a fixture at the top of April's draft and their anemic passing game holds a good amount of the blame. St Louis finished last season as the 30th ranked passing attack while averaging just 179 YPG. Former first overall pick Sam Bradford missed 6 games last season due to injury and has reported that his ankle won't be 100% until after this season (sounds...

Rams, Cowboys: The good, bad, and ugly

Considering a huge blowout victory a week before against the Kansas City Chiefs, The Saint Louis Rams fans had high expectations for their matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.  Unfortunately it was not to be, as the Rams fell to the Cowboys 20-19.   The Rams first string offense was unremarkable in the first quarter against a [...]

Bradford, Rams take a step back against the Cowboys

There are nice ways to play off preseason losses. But after the Rams' first string offense and defense fell apart against an undermanned Dallas Cowboys team, playing without Demarcus Ware or their top three pass-catchers, being nice just isn't realistic. Jeff Fisher's new team regressed to a lot of bad habits that they retained from the Steve Spagnuolo era: poor positioning...

Dallas' Murray, Rams' Bradford on same field again

DeMarco Murray and Sam Bradford were college teammates at Oklahoma who have had some similarities in the NFL. Both had standout rookie seasons, though a year apart. Running back Murray played his first NFL games last season for the Dallas Cowboys, after St. Louis Rams quarterback Bradford's impressive debut as the NFL's offensive rookie of the year in 2010. There were also...

The New York Jets have had concerns about the right tackle spot throughout the preseason, and on Monday they tried to address that issue by acquiring Jason Smith from the St. Louis Rams, multiple media outlets reported Monday. In exchange, the Jets gave the Rams offensive tackle Wayne Hunter, who had been part of the problem for the Jets on the offensive line. In fact, both...

Jets acquire RT Smith from Rams for RT Hunter

The New York Jets have acquired Jason Smith from the St. Louis Rams for Wayne Hunter in a swap of disappointing right tackles. Kenny Zuckerman, Hunter's agent, confirmed the deal Monday night, telling The Associated Press it was pending physicals on Tuesday. Smith was the No. 2 overall pick by the Rams (No. 28 in the AP Pro32) in the 2009 draft, but failed to live up to lofty...

After a tumultuous run as the Jets habitually criticized and scrutinized starting Right Tackle, Wayne Hunter has seen his last days in New York. The Jets have agreed to send the struggling Tackle to the St. Louis Rams in exchange for fellow Tackle, Jason Smith. Smith, the 2nd overall selection in the 2009 NFL Draft, was heavily touted coming out of Baylor, but has failed to live...
