St Louis Rams News and Notes – Preseason Week 3

With the St Louis Rams heading into a week three match-up with rival Kansas City Chiefs here in the preseason, a few bits of news have emerged from training camp: -The starters will play into the third quarter, according to Steve Spagnuolo. -DT Fred Robbins, TE Michael Hoomanawanui, DL Jermelle Cudjo, CB Mikail Baker all will miss the game with injuries. -Darian Stewart, a second-year safety out of South Carolina, will start at safety alongside Quintin Mikell. -LB’s Ben Leber and Brady Poppinga will start on the outside. -WR Danario Alexander has recovered from an injury sustained earlier in the week and he is back practicing with the team. -Former linebacker David Vobora signed with the Seattle Seahawks, meaning the Rams will face their old friend twice in the upcoming season.
