PLAYERS: Sam Bradford
TEAMS: St. Louis Rams
The St. Louis Rams will face many inevitable challenges in the upcoming 2013 NFL regular season. Aside from the arduous task of trying to compete with the two of the league’s top projected preseason Super Bowl contenders—the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks—St. Louis also has to find a way to take things to the next level on offense. Quarterback Sam Bradford hasn’t lived up to expectations during his first three seasons, completing 874 of 1,498 passes (58.3 percent) for 9,378 yards with a 45:34 TD-to-INT ratio in 42 games (all starts). The team’s top two receivers from last year—Danny Amendola and Brandon Gibson—each finished with less than 65 catches for under 700 yards and just eight TDs combined.  Now they’re both also on different teams. Nevertheless, the Rams dramatically exceeded expectations in 2012, finishing just below .500 with a 4-1-1 record in arguably the toughest division in the league with a first-year head coach and general manager after going 2-14 in 2011. Tavon Austin proves he is not just hype with dazzling punt returns against Denver

In the game of football, it takes a special skill set to have the ability to hit a home run every time a player touches the ball. To put that fear into an opponent that their pants could fall off with one special juke move. To make opposing coaches change game plans just at the mere thought of one player making a game-changing play. The St. Louis Rams drafted Tavon Austin to be that...
