The St. Louis Rams will have the unenviable task of traveling to CenturyLink Field to play the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17. FOX will carry this game at 4:25 pm EST. Seattle (10-5) finds itself 1/2 game out of the division but would need a 49ers loss to the Cardinals in order to claim the NFC West. St. Louis (7-7-1) has paid good football at times but a four game losing streak in the middle of their schedule doomed their season. What is the points spread in the Rams and Seahawks game? The Seahawks are 10.5 point favorites against the Rams. The over/under for this game is 41 points. STL SEA W-L 7-7-1 10-5 Avg Points 19.1 26.1 Avg Points Allowed 21.9 15.5 Home Record 4-4 7-0 Road Record 3-3-1 3-5 Seattle has scored 42 or more points in each of the last three weeks. Last week Russell Wilson recorded his first four touchdown game. If they are to put up those numbers ago they will have to do it against a surprisingly improved Rams defense. In another bit of good fortune for the Seahawks, cornerback Richard Sherman was cleared of his PED test this week for the use of Adderall. The Rams defense has limited four of its last five opponents to 17 points or less. Running back Steven Jackson needs 10 yards for his eighth 1,000 yard season.

Seahawks couldn't be happier with Russell Okung

Seattle Seahawks OT Russell Okung has certainly come into his own this season, earning him a starting spot for the NFC in this year's Pro Bowl. "This is a chance to see him grow and develop through the whole thing," offensive coordinator Tom Cable told Danny O'Neil on the Seattle Times. "Then to stay healthy, you have to do that. His progression has been...

Seahawks shafted for 2013 Pro Bowl roster spots

East Coast Bias The Pro Bowl rosters are out—and flawed. Even though the Seattle Seahawks are indisputably the NFL’s hottest team, and just torched the “best defense” in the league for 42 points, we have the same number of pro bowlers as…..the Kansas City Chiefs. That’s right. The football world thinks we have the same amount of elite players as a team with more pro...

Week 17: Rams at Seahawks (Game Thread and News & Notes)

Here’s hoping all of you are having a great time over the holidays -- I’ve spent most of this week pinballing from one family gathering to the next.  Really though, with the Seahawks playing as well as they are right now, someone could drop a Buick on my leg and I’d still think this was a pretty awesome week (well, after I stopped screaming in pain long enough to think...
