Found October 28, 2012 on Football Nation:
It was a great game for the New England Patriots but a horrible game for the Saint Louis Rams.  The Rams have had a lot of trouble beating the  Patriots since the Super Bowl loss to them and today was no exception.  The final score of the game was 45-7. The Rams actually did dominate the ball.  The Rams had the ball for 31:06 while the Patriots had it for just under 29 minutes.  The Rams had only 57 plays while the Patriots had 66 plays during  the game.Once again, the penalties were a big killer for the Rams.  The Rams once again had a total of 12 penalties during the game.  They also had a whopping 102 penalty yards.  The Rams who have some good sackers weren't able to get any sacks in during the game.  The good news is that the Patriots were only able to sack them two times.  The Rams defense is usually very good, but today it was  just horrible.  They allowed over forty points to be scored by their opponents and had a fantasy score of -4.Chris Givens was the bright spot of t...

Robert Kraft Says London Should Have NFL Franchise, Going to England Is 'Home Game' for Patriots

London is home to some of the biggest sporting events in the world, but the best may be yet to come for England's capital. London has hosted the Olympic Games and is the site of Wimbledon, the premier tournament in tennis. England also has one of the most popular football leagues in the world (as in soccer), but New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft says it...

Rob Gronkowski spikes mic in London at fans’ request (Video)

Rob Gronkowski is a crowd pleaser if nothing else. The Patriots tight end was addressing fans in Trafalgar Square in London on Saturday ahead of New England’s game against the St. Louis Rams when he began receiving calls to “spike the mic!” Gronk started laughing, stopped talking about the Rams, took one look at the mic in his right hand, and happily obliged with a vicious...

Week 8 Preview – St. Louis Rams vs. New England Patriots

I am having Déjà vu. Upon completion of my research, I have written this preview before. See if any of this sounds familiar. The Rams need to be able to run the ball, or at least threaten the run to have offensive success. Turns out, the Patriots strength on defense is against the run.  They are 8th against the run, allowing only 86 yards a game. The Patriots weakness...

Could Alfonzo Dennard be one of best steals from 2012 NFL Draft?

Yes Patriots rookie corner Alfonzo Dennard have just played in only his fourth career NFL game on Sunday against the St. Louis Rams, but he is starting to show signs of being a valuable asset to a very shaky secondary. On Sunday, Dennard registered a career high five tackles and also had his second straight [...]

Patriots Pass Rush Behind Last Season's Pace Despite Adding Chandler Jones, Dont'a Hightower

After years of begging and pleading from the Patriots' faithful, Bill Belichick finally addressed the pass rush in the 2012 NFL draft. But while the long-term issue was addressed, did it actually do anything in the short term for New England's ability to get after opposing quarterbacks? New England used two first-round picks on players that presumably should...

Patriots Injury Report: Wes Welker Injures Ankle

New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker injured his left ankle during the team’s victory over the St. Louis Rams yesterday. He told reporters, including Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com, that he thought the ankle injury was nothing to be overly concerned about. “Yeah, I think so,” he answered. “We’ll see. We’ll evaluate it in the morning. It’s hard to tell right...

Brady gives Britain a show in blowout win

The New England Patriots had a mission for week 8: Get in, get the win, go home. Turns out, due to Hurricane Sandy, getting out was the hardest part. The Patriots took out a mediocre St. Louis Rams team, just like they should have to many of their opponents so far.Tom Brady, with a passer rating of 133, dominated the Rams defense. Rob Gronkowski appeared as though he was never...

New England Dominates in Olde England: 5 notes from the Patriots Victory

The New England Patriots showed little weakness on Sunday, and destroyed the London Silly Nannies St. Louis Rams 45-7, in front of 84,000 people at Wembley Stadium in London. Here are five things we learned from the game: 1.)    Stevan Ridley CAN destroy defenses. Ridley had only 15 carries in the game but he rushed for a total of 127 yards. In the 3rd quarter alone, Ridley ran...

Rob Gronkowski's Enthusiastic Play Has Patriots Offense Marching Into Bye Week on High

In the midst of having a little fun with a pair of touchdown catches during the Patriots' win in London on Sunday, Rob Gronkowski made sure to take care of business. While Gronkowski's Buckingham Palace-guard touchdown march -- followed of course by a powerful spike to the grass at Wembley Stadium -- might be the most memorable moment of New England's 45-7 rout of...

Hurricane Sandy Proves to Be Bigger Threat Than Rams, Reportedly Causes Travel Problems for Patriots

The Rams didn't cause too much of a problem for the Patriots on Sunday, but the same can't be said for Hurricane Sandy. As the big storm slams into the northeast region of the United States, the Patriots are stuck across the pond, apparently unable to leave London due to the inclement weather, according to WHDH-TV in Boston. Fortunately for Bill Belichick...

Week 8 London Preview: Patriots at Rams

The New England Patriots weren’t pretty last Sunday, but they were able to survive a tough divisional game against the New York Jets 29-26 in overtime. The defense gave up a ton of yards, but it was Rob Ninkovich’s sack and forced fumble in overtime that sealed the victory. Now, without tight end Aaron Hernandez, the Patriots will make a trip across the pond for an...
