TEAMS: St. Louis Rams, San Francisco 49ers
I did predict that the game was going to be close! In fact, the game was so close that nobody ended up winning it.Shortly before the game started it was announced that the rookies Chris Givens and Janoris Jenkins were made inactive becase they had violated the team rules. Which rule or rules were broken is still unclear. However, fans are supportive of head coach Jeff Fisher for disciplining the players and not letting anything slide. The sad thing is that the Rams would have most likely won if Givens had actually played. The game started with a touchdown pass on the opening drive by Brian Quick. It was the very first touchdown of his career. Sam Bradford passed for 275 yards and two touchdowns during the game. As for Alex Smith, he was injured by Jo-Lonn Dumbar shortly before halftime and had to miss the second half of the game.Gregg Zuerlein only made one field goal but it was enough to keep the 49ers from winning the game. It would have been nice to see him finally beat th...

St. Louis Rams announced that cornerback Janoris Jenkins and wide receiver Chris Givens are inactive for Sunday's game against the host San Francisco 49ers because they violated team rules. Rams still coming to grips with rare tie
Danny Amendola's first game in a month for the St. Louis Rams was a huge success. And that's without the 142 yards on a pair of big plays that were nullified by penalty.
A day after repeated mistakes cost the Rams an upset at San Francisco, the wide receiver said he'd try to take the positives out the NFL's first tie game in four years.
Easy to say, hard to swallow...

49ers and Rams players didn't know an NFL game could end in a tie
Yesterday, the San Francisco 49ers and the St. Louis Rams game ended in a 24-24 tie, the first since 2008.
While most NFL fans knew the possibility that the game could end in a tie, it appears that 49ers safety Dashon Goldson and Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola weren't aware of that fact:
“I didn’t know you could tie,” Goldson said, per Cam Inman. “When I saw...

Quarterbacks are dropping like flies on Sunday.
First Michael Vick was ruled out of the Cowboys-Eagles game with a concussion, and now the same has happened to 49ers’ signal caller Alex Smith. Smith was scrambling when he took a vicious blow from Rams’ linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar.
The 49ers could struggle without Smith after building their offense around him. Second-year player...

Lil Wayne Interviews Randy Moss on ESPN, Discusses Receiver’s ‘Misunderstood’ Nature (Video)
Randy Moss‘ comeback to the NFL via the San Francisco 49ers hasn’t yielded the mind-boggling numbers that Moss put up during his heyday in Minnesota and New England. So far this season, Moss has 13 receptions for 235 yards and two touchdowns for the 6-2 Niners.
But regardless of his play, Moss has never been afraid to speak his mind. On Sunday, Moss took part in an interview...
