I did predict that the game was going to be close!  In fact, the game was so close that nobody ended up winning it.Shortly before the game started it was announced that the rookies Chris Givens and Janoris Jenkins were made inactive becase they had violated the team rules.  Which rule or rules were broken is still unclear.  However, fans are supportive of head coach Jeff Fisher for disciplining the players and not letting anything slide.  The sad thing is that the Rams would have most likely won if Givens had actually played. The game started with a touchdown pass on the opening drive by Brian Quick.  It was the very first touchdown of his career.  Sam Bradford passed for 275 yards and two touchdowns during the game.  As for Alex Smith, he was injured by Jo-Lonn Dumbar shortly before halftime and had to miss the second half of the game.Gregg Zuerlein only made one field goal but it was enough to keep the 49ers from winning the game.  It would have been nice to see him finally beat the NFL field goal record, but hopefully he will before the season is over. The St. Louis Rams move on to play the Jets.  They shouldn't be hard to beat as they only scored 7 points today.I did predict that the loser of this game would win the next match up.  There was no loser of the game so my prediction isn't going to happen.  Since the game will be at the Dome I predict that the Rams will win.  I did predict that the Rams wouldn't sweep the 49ers and it already turns out that I was right.
