Joe: Bills, 17-14. I still worry about the Bills defense against the Jets offense. In the last four meetings, the Bills defense has allowed an average of 250 yards a game on the ground against the Jets. It didn't matter if it was LT, Thomas Jones, Joe McKnight, Greene or Blair Thomas. We sucked. Also, Fitz's struggles against the Jets in the first meeting last year, still rings in my head (44% completion and only 128 yards). However, I think things are different. I think this will be a slugfest. I think the key for this game is Fred Jackson. With the Jets having the 25th ranked run defense and me not being confident about Stevie going 1-on-1 with Revis, Jackson needs a huge game. Look for a ton of screen plays to slow down the Jets pass rush. It will be close. BTW, F#$K THE JETS! I'm so ready for this game. I'm at the point that if we win, I may go outside of my apartment with a F#$K J-E-T-S shirt and see if I can pick a fight.

Dear Mr. Wilson, Fred Jackson of the Buffalo Bills is hard-working, determined and never gives up to achieve his goal. Why WatchThe Bills have not been so dominant in the AFC East since the 1991 13-3 Super Bowl team. That Bills team scored more points than any AFC team and allowed fewer points than three of its four division rivals. The Bills v2011 are on a pace to beat their '91 output...

ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter put together his midseason NFL awards and Fred Jackson is near the top of his list.

Joe Caporoso: Check the 12 Pack
TJ Rosenthal: Jets Win If ā They stop Fred Jackson. The Bills offense can be contained in the air for two reasons. First, their WR combo of Stevie Johnson and David Nelson wonāt stand a chance to Darrelle Revis should the Jets choose to lock either one of them up. The Bills TE Scott Chandler has 6 TDās but has been targeted just 18 times...
When the Jets travel to AFC East rival Buffalo tomorrow, they will face the daunting task of trying to slow breakout running back Fred Jackson.

The New York Jets' back-to-basics formula -- smashmouth defense and running the ball -- has them firmly back in the AFC East playoff race at midseason. The Jets forced three turnovers, including Jim Leonhard's recovery of Fred Jackson's fumble that set up LaDainian Tomlinson's 1-yard plunge early in the second half of a 27-11 win over the Buffalo Bills.
The Buffalo Bills thumped the hapless Redskins 23-0 in Toronto last weekend.Ā The Jets had two weeks to get ready for this game as they are coming off their bye week.Ā This is a HUGE game in the AFC East, as the Bills are tied for first place with the Patriots, while the Jets are 1 game behind both of them.Ā Here is a look at the matchups in this game:

Its strange to write about the Jets heading to lovely Western New York trying to unseat the 1st place Bills. I donāt think words like that have been laid to paper in well over a decade. But nonetheless, the Jets head to Ralph Wilson stadium to try and take down the 5-2 Bills, while rooting for the cross-town Giants to hand the 5-2 Patriots their second loss in as many weeks. With...
