There is only one reason the 0-5 Miami Dolphins sold out a home game this weekend in South Beach. His name is Tim Tebow.

Strangely enough, the Dolphins are honoring one of Tebow’s championship teams from the University of Florida during halftime. Perhaps when they set that up during the offseason, they knew this game would be significant.

It certainly is, especially for fantasy owners. Tebow is a stat-sheet filling machine. His mechanics might not look pretty or get the endorsement of all those analysts on ESPN, but fantasy owners do not get points for mechanics. They get points for yards and touchdowns. Tebow is going to get both, whether through the air or on the ground.

Those who picked him up in fantasy leagues get to enjoy a top-1o quarterback the rest of the way.

Injuries of Note

Felix Jones suffered a high-ankle sprain and is expected to miss two-to-four weeks. Rookie DeMarco Murray could draw his first career start against the Rams … Despite suffering a high-ankle sprain against the Cowboys, Sam Bradford could start against Dallas this weekend. Would be nice to see Bradford and Brandon Lloyd together on the field for the first time … Veteran running back Maurice Morris likely will get the start for Detroit if Jahvid Best (concussion) is unable to play … Andre Johnson likely will miss another game this weekend and said it could take up to six weeks to return from his hamstring injury a few weeks ago. That could keep him out through the Texans’ bye week (Week 11) … Antonio Gates is practicing this week and should return to the field for the first time since Week 2 … The Browns are concerned about the hamstring injury to Peyton Hillis, making him a candidate to miss at least one week of action … The Jerome Harrison-Ronnie Brown trade was voided because Harrison failed a physical. Turns out he has a brain tumor. The trade was a blessing in disguise, hopefully.

Start ‘Em
