According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, linebacker James Harrison is likely playing in his final game as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers today. Steelers’ Season of ‘What-Ifs’ Comes to an End

The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Cleveland Browns 24-10 in Pittsburgh today and therefore ended the season at 8-8. A far cry from what many expected this season to be sure. Ben Roethlisberger rebounded from a tough end to the Bengals’ game by throwing for less than 200 yards, but tossed three touchdowns and most importantly, he ended the game healthy. Read the timeline of any...

Pittsburgh Steelers Save Best for Last, Beat Browns 24-10 in 2012 Season Finale

To find the most fitting soundtrack for the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 2012 season finale, you’d have to go back to a song released in 1991, Chuck Noll’s final season as coach. “Here we are now. Entertain us.” Those lyrics from Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” summed up my feeling about Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field. I expected nothing more...

Steelers bracing for changes after 8-8 season

The Pittsburgh Steelers spent all fall claiming the chatter generated by various off-the-field issues was only so much background noise. Through Mike Wallace's contract status to the relationship between quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and Todd Haley to the injury problems that kept bold-faced players out of the lineup for long stretches, the Steelers insisted they were focused...

Steelers pull away from Browns in 24-10 win

Pittsburgh Steelers owner Art Rooney II milled about the locker room after Sunday's 24-10 season-ending win over Cleveland, offering handshakes to some players, pats on the back to others. It wasn't a typical fall in Pittsburgh (8-8), which avoided its first losing season in a decade but missed the playoffs for the first time in three years after a dramatic collapse. Yet...
