Found October 03, 2012 on Eagles Eye:
I will never be the one to say any regular season matchup with the Steelers is predictable...but the Eagles have a terrific chance to go into Game 5 of the 2012 season with Pittsburgh and set the tone for a playoff run. You may say it's too early to begin speaking of playoffs ("Playoffs! Are you kidding me!!), but to come out of Heinz Field this Sunday with a "W" would put the Birds at 4-1...and give them a huge boost of momentum moving forward. The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off a bye week and look to rebound from their embarrassing loss, 34-31, to Oakland. Their defense looked horrible and seemingly gave up in the 4th quarter. The Steelers had trouble rushing the quarterback which resulted in big pass plays. Many people are questioning whether or not coordinator Dick LeBeau is still the defensive mastermind as people knew him to be. The Steelers have a tough test ahead of them as they take on the Eagles. But there is Big Ben, still standing......

This Troy Polamalu Doll Is Way Less Horrifying Than The Last Troy Polamalu Doll

Back in August of 2011, we came across some terrifying attempt at a Troy Polamalu doll and I am still having trouble sleeping. Seriously. This one is way better. Via Etsy (of course): "Celebrate your love for the Pittsburgh Steelers with your very own Troy Polamalu doll!He stands about 14" tall and comes with loads of soft, luscious hair:-) Head and Shoulders would...

Steelers' Harrison, Polamalu practice

Injured Steelers James Harrison and Troy Polamalu practiced on Monday as the team returned from its bye week. Harrison declined to speculate on whether he'll be available for Sunday's game against Philadelphia. The four-time Pro Bowler has been slowed by a left knee injury and he skipped the team's final practice last week. Harrison said he'll have a better idea...

Steelers Injury Report: Rashard Mendenhall, Troy Polamalu, James Harrison

Despite their 1-2 start to the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers could receive a significant boost this weekend on both sides of the football. Running back Rashard Mendenhall and linebacker James Harrison could make their season debuts for Pittsburgh, while safety Troy Polamalu could return from an injury that’s kept him out the past two weeks. Harrison and Polamalu...

James Harrison, Troy Polamlu fully practiced on Monday

The Steelers have been without linebacker James Harrison for the entire regular season so far and safety Troy Polamalu has been out since week one.  Both players fully practiced on Monday and it looks like Polamalu will at least have a very good chance at playing this week against the Eagles. With nothing certain, Harrison made it clear that he’s hopeful he’ll be on the field...

Philadelphia Eagles (3-1) at Pittsburgh Steelers (1-2)

Philadelphia Eagles (3-1) at Pittsburgh Steelers (1-2) I really wish these two teams weren’t playing each other. I was so looking forward to betting Pittsburgh back at home this week off their bye after they fell flat in Oakland before the bye. That loss in Oakland, as bad as Oakland is, was predictable. The Steelers have really struggled on the road, as opposed to at home, over...

Philadelphia Eagles at Pittsburgh Steelers NFL Week 5 Preview

Nick Laham/Getty Images Follow @Dan Vasta The Eagles and Steelers defense will likely stone cold knock each other out in a heavyweight battle that defensive minded fans will love. All the big boys are back for the ‘Burgh as Troy Polamalu and James Harrison are both back and they will be attempting to harass Michael Vick like any defense in the NFL. The team speed is up for debate...

Eagles-Steelers Preview

As fortunate as they may have seemed at the time, it's hard to argue with the Philadelphia Eagles' results so far. The Pittsburgh Steelers would be happy to settle for winning ugly. The Steelers should get Troy Polamalu, James Harrison and Rashard Mendenhall back as they look to avoid falling in a 1-3 hole Sunday against the visiting Eagles. Philadelphia (3-1) has been...
