Below are the defensive player play counts and the participation chart for the Pittsburgh Steelers week 10 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. We also are including down, time of play and yards gained to better help you identify the play.
The Steelers used quite a bit of base against the Chiefs in this game because they only forced them into 3 third downs in the first half. Only 19 snaps were they in the nickel with 10 of those plays coming in the last 12 plays of the game.
Not much else sticks out participation wise or scheme wise from this game. Cameron Heyward, Steve McLendon, and Al Read more [...]

A Kansas City Chiefs fan's obituary claimed his death was caused by the team. Read the funny entry here.
The Steelers need to run and play great defense to have a chance this week.
After a rough Week 10, I'm sitting at 92-54-1. Who wants to keep track of a tie.
Let's see if I can turn this around this week.
Arizona at Atlanta - The Cards need to get some production from the QB position if they want any chance to make playoff this season.
The Falcons finally...

Brady Quinn is set to take the field to replace Matt Cassell who has struggled for the Kansas City Chiefs most of the season.
Quinn was not cleared to participate following a concussion, but did practice during the week.
The switching back and forth between Quinn and Cassell doesn’t leave much hope for the Chiefs, who have quickly become one of the worst teams in the NFL in 2012...
The Pittsburgh Steelers look to stack their fifth win in a row Sunday night when they host division rival Baltimore Ravens at Heinz Field. Below are 7 things to watch for specifically in this game along with my prediction at the end of it. In case you missed it, here is the Wednesday podcast preview of the game that features a great interview with Ravens beat writer John Eisenberg...
Ravens @ Steelers Sunday – 11/18/12 8:20 PM The Baltimore Ravens return to prime-time on Sunday when they travel to Pittsburgh to take on their AFC North rival Steelers on Sunday Night Football. Both teams have been hobbled by injuries but are still continuing their winning ways. Baltimore leads the Steelers in the AFC North standings by just one game. Sunday night’s game...
Chiefs receiver Dwayne Bowe left Sunday's game in the second quarter with a head injury. His return is doubtful.Fantasy Spin:Bowe landed on his head and went to the locker room. When he returned he didn't have his helmet with him, a pretty sure sign that he's not retuning anytime soon.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. The Chiefs, and their fans, seemingly have nothing left to get mad about.
Instead, an eerie silence cast over the in-house crowd of about 50,000 fans at Arrowhead Stadium for most of Sunday afternoon's Chiefs-Bengals game, won handily and rather uneventfully by the Bengals, 28-6.
Obviously, Chiefs fans had virtually nothing to cheer about, just two short Ryan...
If you were coaching a team that was ranked 28th in total defense, 18th in total offense, and 11th in points allowed, what do you think your record would be? Bet you wouldn't guess 7-2 and yet, that's exactly what the Baltimore Ravens are just past the halfway point of the season. The Pittsburgh Steelers come into this contest with the top statistical defense and 18th ranked...
Cincinnati Bengals (4-5) at Kansas City Chiefs (1-8)
Almost every year, we have one team go from in the playoffs to 5 wins or fewer. Right now, every playoff team from last year has at least 4 wins. That means one of two things. We’re not going to have a team like that this year (only happened 1 other time in the last decade) or either Detroit, New Orleans, or Cincinnati is about...
The Bengals look to continue their winning ways, as they head to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs in a Sunday matinee affair. The Bengals are riding high off a dismantling at home against Eli Manning and the defending champion Giants, while the Chiefs are looking to rebound on a short week loss on Monday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Although it appears the two teams are trending...
Last week the Cincinnati Bengals knocked off the defending Super Bowl champs in convincing fashion while the Kansas City Chiefs dropped a game in overtime to the Steelers thanks largely to their inability to win the turnover battle. These are teams heading in different directions in the short term, and at least in terms of the Chiefs’ struggles over the course of the season as...
Kansas City, Mo. -- The Cincinnati Bengals used a solid, workmanlike performance in winning their second consecutive game, this time beating the Kansas City Chiefs 28-6 at Arrowhead Stadium. The Bengals dominated the Chiefs, especially in the first half with three touchdowns and allowed Kansas City only a pair of field goals. The victory helped the Bengals move their record to...
