According to Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Pittsburgh Steelers had reserve free agent tackle Dennis Roland all lined up to come to Pittsburgh for a tryout on Tuesday, but instead he re-signed with the Cincinnati Bengals after they lost starting left guard Clint Boling for the season in their Sunday win over the San Diego Chargers. The Steelers were obviously looking at Roland because of all of the injuries that they suffered along the offensive line in the Thursday night loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The Steelers signed center/guard Eric Olsen and tackled Rashad Butler on Saturday, but Butler quickly left the team due to personal reasons. Once they were shunned by Roland, who was with the Bengals through the first three games of the season, they signed former Buffalo Bills interior lineman David Snow on Tuesday. The Steelers could be without the services of left tackle Kelvin Beachum and right guard David DeCastro this week against the Miami Dolphins as both failed to practice on Wednesday. Beachum is suffering from a left knee sprain, while DeCastro is trying to overcome a foot injury of some description.
