EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- In a game billed as the battle of two first-round quarterbacks from the Class of 2004, the Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger outlasted the Giants' Eli Manning by copying Manning's fourth-quarter comeback act to steer Pittsburgh to a 24-20 win over New York at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. The Steelers (5-3) won their third game in a row, while the Giants (6-3) saw their four-game winning streak end. Roethlisberger, whose record against NFC teams improved to 24-7, overcame some early-game obstacles that included four sacks, one interception and one fumble, all of which contributed to 10 Giants points. He powered the Steelers to a come-from-behind drive in the fourth quarter. The nine-play, 51-yard march ended on a one-yard touchdown run by running back Isaac Redman with just over four minutes remaining. Roethlisberger completed 21 of 30 passes for 216 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Redman ran for 146 yards on 26 carries. Manning wa...

Ben Roethlisberger Forward Pass Ruled Fumble By NFL Officials in Steelers-Giants Game (Animation)
Steelers fans can't be happy with the officiating in Pittsburgh's game against the Giants.
Ben Roethlisberger was charged with a fumble when Osi Umenuiora hit Big Ben's arm he went to throw, and though it looked like he unintentionally let go of the ball, his arm was moving forward. The call should have been ruled either a tuck rule or simply a forward...
Manning doesn't deliver vs Steelers in 24-20 loss
After delivering so many times with late comebacks and big performances, Eli Manning and the New York Giants couldn't provide a happy ending for the storm-ravaged fans who came to see them against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Manning not only came short and looked out of sorts in a 24-20 loss Sunday, his passing statistics were his worst in almost four years. He finished 10 of 24...
Muy Frio: Eli Manning
I’m a head scratcher Juan…
Eli Manning is a great NFL QB. Ice water in his veins that allows him to bring his team back late in games. This has translated to fantasy stats in recent years and his preseason ranking in the top 10 was an indication of where owners thought he should be getting drafted.
In the first 5 weeks of the season, Eli scored 15 or more fantasy points...

After the win against the Giants this past Sunday, Pittsburgh has completely turned their season around and is now firmly in position to overtake the Ravens in the AFC North in 2 weeks. Although they can’t look past the Chiefs this coming Monday night...
NFL Rumors: Is Peyton Manning 2012 NFL MVP At Denver Broncos Midseason?
Peyton Manning has won four NFL MVP awards. The Denver Broncos quarterback is no stranger to what it takes to win the NFL MVP. In fact, although he did not play a single snap during the 2011 NFL season, which turned out to be his final one with the Indianapolis Colts, many felt as if Manning still deserved a few votes for MVP as it proved just how important he was to his team and...
Things Get No Better In New York, As Steelers Outlasts Giants.

19 NSFW ‘Giants Bros Bashing Eli’ F-Bomb Tweets
Eli has had a rough couple of games. In two weeks Eli combined to go 25-53 for 319 yards and two interceptions. Not exactly what you’d call elite. Giants bros are starting to lose patience in their two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback…take @Cheese_Nigga_ for example: “F*ck all you ***** ass salty ass Giants fans. Eli Manning looks like Charizard.”

What the Steelers Must Do to Beat the Giants
1. The Steelers must negate the Giants’ pass rush by establishing the run early.
2. The Steelers must use their wide receivers well against a less-than-stellar Giants’ secondary.
3. The Steelers must have at least a two-score lead going into the fourth quarter. Eli Manning is at his best in the fourth quarter with a QB rating of 103.5.
4. The Steelers must find someone to defend...
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New York Giants preview
Leave it to Mother Nature to take a game with an infinite amount of story lines and make another one. Looking at the game alone, it was already arguably the marquee match-up of the week. It pits the Super Bowl champions who have been excellent to this point against a Steelers team who has seemed to find their way over the past couple of weeks. It's also a match-up between...
Three important calls from NFL Week 9
The inadvertent whistle in the Panthers-Redskins game turned undue attention to the officials in Week 9, and three more controversial situations occurred in which the judgment on the field also came into question.
The Game: Miami at Indianapolis
The Situation: The Dolphins had the ball, second-and-1, on their own 30 with 5:26 remaining in the game. Indianapolis led, 23-20.

Muy Frio: Hakeem Nicks
I would have benched me too Juan…
Hakeem Nicks came into the season injured and laid an egg against the Cowboys is week one. He then came back in week 2 with a 10/199/1 performance that had his fantasy owners jumping for joy. He re-injured his foot and also injured his knee in that game, which caused him to miss 3 games.
Since returning Nicks has been an absolute bust. He...
