As we see each week, our prognosticator extraordinaire here on SA, Troyisabeast43 breaks down how things look for the Steelers. After the win against the Giants this past Sunday, Pittsburgh has completely turned their season around and is now firmly in position to overtake the Ravens in the AFC North in 2 weeks. Although they can’t look past the Chiefs this coming Monday night, things are by far looking better than they did 3 weeks ago. “I cannot even begin to tell you how absolutely huge this win was for the Steelers to get moving forward here for the stretch run the rest of the season. And even though it sucks that the Ravens did end up coming back and winning against the Browns today it now sets up the Steelers game against the Ravens, 2 weeks from tonight at Heinz Field. You have to believe next week that both the Steelers and the Ravens will both win their games. Pittsburgh of course hosts the pathetic Chiefs at home on Monday night football, and the Ravens play the Oakland Rai...

Phil Simms was all over the place during Sunday's Steelers-Giants game, as is becoming par for the course these days.  This brief clip was one of the more amusing announcing bloopers of the weeekend.  Listen closely as he calls Steelers coach Mike Tomlin by the name of former Steelers quarterback Mike Tomczak.  Seriously, what is it about top analysts across seemingly every...

Steelers halt Giants' four-game winning streak

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- In a game billed as the battle of two first-round quarterbacks from the Class of 2004, the Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger outlasted the Giants' Eli Manning by copying Manning's fourth-quarter comeback act to steer Pittsburgh to a 24-20 win over New York at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. The Steelers (5-3) won their third game in a row, while the Giants...

Antonio Brown Doubtful For Week 10

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin announced that wide receiver Antonio Brown would likely be doubtful for Monday night’s game against the Chiefs, per Ed Bouchette. Brown sprained his ankle during Sunday’s win over the Giants. Tomlin is usually pretty straight forward about player status, so it safe to suggest that Brown is unlikely to suit up on Monday night. Emmanuel Sanders would...

Steelers Overcome Lots of Adversity in Giant Week 9 Win

The Steelers overcame about as much adversity as possible in the first half of their 24-20 win over the New York Giants. There were three calls made in a short window that were all three very questionable at best. Those calls very well could have cost the Steelers the game and were the only reason the Giants remained in the game as long as they did. Overall the Steelers dominated...
