NFL Injury Report:
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was a limited
participant in practice Thursday and is considered a “longshot” to return for
Sunday’s matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, the Associated Press reports.
Roethlisberger practiced in a limited role Thursday and
appears a longshot to return for Sunday's game in Baltimore.
While Roethlisberger told reporters “there’s always a
chance,” he continues to be hampered by his sprained right shoulder and
dislocated rib injuries that he suffered during the team’s overtime victory
over the Kansas Chiefs a few weeks ago.
While Roethlisberger’s pain isn’t as severe as it was
immediately after sustaining the injuries, he still doesn’t know if “he can
make all the throws necessary to attack Baltimore’s secondary.” If he’s unable
to suit up against the Ravens, the Steelers would once again turn to veteran
quarterback and long-time backup Charlie Batch.

Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5) at Baltimore Ravens (9-2)
2 weeks ago, the Steelers were riding high at 6-3, including a recent win over the Giants in New York and looked like they had a chance to take control of the division with a win at home against the then 7-2 Baltimore Ravens. However, Ben Roethlisberger got hurt late against Kansas City and has been unable to play in each of their...

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was officially ruled out on the Friday injury report so that means that veteran Charlie Batch will be asked to do the unthinkable and beat the 9-2 Baltimore Ravens Sunday in their own backyard of M&T Stadium.

This Given Sunday is examining the biggest injury questions before each week of the NFL season. Here are the top-five health-related storylines entering Week 13.
The odds still appear to favor Big Ben sitting out at least one more week with that rib injury, but he's a tough dude and this is a huge game against Baltimore. If by chance he's a game-time...
The Ravens will meet the Steelers for the second time in three weeks. The Steelers will be without high profile players Ben Roethlisberger and LaMarr Woodley, but get back safety Troy Polamalu.
Two weeks ago, the Ravens defeated Pittsburgh 13-10 at Heinz Field. I expect the same result, but a different score this time.
The Ravens haven’t lost a home game since Week 13 of the 2010...
